The Sabbath, the day you're not supposed to work, is sundown Friday until S-a t-u-r d-a-y night. And "work" is defined throughout the text. You can still do things such as sacrifice your animals, of course, but kindling fire or other similar acts, those are out.

@@jeffa5915 Yes. Churches are open on Sunday. Ken calls the museum a ministry when it's a tax matter and a non prophet business when it's to his advantage. It's another way in which they have it both ways and it has nothing to do with scripture and everything to do with making the most money. If the thing is a church (ministry), then the gift shops and restaurants should not be open and they are. They also serve pork and sell mixed fabrics. But the whole shebang is there because you have to take every little thing literally or you might question the main message. Well I call BS and I applaud people like Paulogia who do likewise. Thanks again.

@@TheSimpleManUFOUAP Thank you for your response. Firstly, I'm sorry to hear about your experiences with bullying in childhood - I hope that it hasn't had lasting effects. So, there's no ongoing accountability per se by the sounds of it - by the time the student finds out that their education was sub par*, (if it actually was sub par) the damage is done - at least that's what I've taken from your comment - unless I've misconstrued it. *Of course I imagine that particularly attentive parents might educate their children to a higher standard than they'd achieve at school. Interesting, though worrying - that said, I've no experience of home schooling myself.

@@ianmacfarlane1241 I'm a rarity I suppose, in the facet of bullying, it made me a stronger willed person, who will not easily back down. I know that's not most people's experience. However you also were correct in realizing that attentive parents can make the difference between a good or bad experience with homeschooling. Human sexual and gender diversity is a demonstrably natural phenomenon that has occurred and been documented all throughout recorded history. Ergo, if there were a god, this would be part of their "law", but some middle eastern nomads got that wrong millenia ago (possibly because they had some beef with rival religions that revered sexual and gender minorities the way many cultures have done historically, or possibly because of a transition into a very strictly patriarchal society for different reasons). However, when you worship a particular interpretation of a particular translation of a particular version of a particular book, reality tends to be rather inconvenient.

22:50 I stand to be corrected, but I don't think Müllerian mimicry is convergent evolution. In the latter, two or more distinct clades independently evolve the same trait - the adaption would have occurred in one lineage even if the other lineage was removed. In the former, the shared trait must first be established in an original species and confer an indirect fitness advantage. If the original lineage was removed, the trait would not develop in other lineages.
