Ticket to Ride: France and Old West

Since our game groups often have 6 players and we love Ticket to Ride, I’ve just ordered this map expansion set. Now, Ticket to Ride isn’t eliminated by a higher player count! Old West hasn’t had the best review but the new mechanics look interesting and it will be great to have 6 players. I’m very intrigued by the mechanic of laying track on France map, so I’m looking forward to that too!

Yeah, building your own track is really fun. If you are interested in another 6 player TTR, check out the team map of Asia. It's a 2vs2vs2 map that is really fun. One of our favorites!

Unfortunately your explanation of how the Old West "cities" work is incorrect. Points from completed routes are obtained by the player who completed them. Only the portion of track connected to a city yields points for the player who owns that city.

I'm happy to see Ticket to Ride Old West getting some love! It's one of my favorites, but it doesn't seem to get the buzz it deserves. I'm looking forward to your ranking of Ticket to Ride versions.
