Your reaction to two long trains I found funny. I live in a area criss crosssed with trains and this is something that happens to me too much. I'm impressed, you did ten intense days of filming and driving and migraines and editing and caring for Frank and caring for Amanda. Very good job!!! All the best to everyone but especially Sweet Frank.

Duct tape/gorilla tape is always good to have on hand. The principles of improvised engineering teach us we only need two materials to "fix" anything, duct tape (or an equivalent), and WD-40 (or an equivalent). If it's moving and it's not supposed to, apply duct tape. If it isn't moving and it's supposed to apply WD-40. :P

Brilliant set of videos. Really enjoyed them. My favourite bit , which made me laugh, was the bit on day 10 when you were almost there, about to socialise big time and you showed us all your signs saying basically' get away from me!' Your face showed your apprehension. I was impressed with the way you faced those fears and went ahead with the adventure. All the best.

The sign is an excellent idea! I do not live in a van now, but I am seriously thinking about selling my house and moving into one. I am not familiar with proper van life etiquette, and I am sure that there are other van life newbies who don't know these unwritten rules of life on the road.

Frankie is so cute when he talks! The sun coming up on the desert city was so beautiful! Bye Brian! Your commentary about the train cracked me up, and then the sign, too! Smart thinking! lol you are so funny whipping out the duct tape. Hey, comes in handy for all sorts of things…. And pee jugs! 😂 Your grocery haul made me hungry. That popcorn is my favorite! The parts that are most memorable for me are your morning at the hot spring, your climb up the hill and telling us about your approach to dealing with self-doubt. And the scene where the sun is hitting the mountains and long shadows are stretching across the land. Thank you, I wrote you once after I first found you then got the nerve to write. You inspired me to move toward van life, I wanted it but was unsure. 64 , on social security and living in Mexico. I am on way way back to northern Mexico to sell my car and get a used van. San Carlos, Sonora Mexico area. I will spend time there saying hello to friends and then going back sound down around Guadalajara, Lake Chapala area. I up and moved last year, hitting the road I have no problem with. This has been so much fun. Thank you, Amanda. I have to say the mountains in nevada were my favorite. (At least I believe it was nv) I love the scenery moments that you take. ❤️ We also have canned hamburg, Ham, beef tuna etc. I personally, like freeze-dried food, it's light weight to travel with.
