Love your channel. I generally eat healthy, unfortunately my husband never used to. Due to stress and depression and fear of loosing my portion of food that I rarely used to consume - told you I don’t eat that much and if I eat it would be healthy. Now I’m doing healthy diet again. But still have some problems- gastrointestinal. 2016 diagnosed with hyperplasia too. Few other problems related to digestion. Wish to talk to you. I live in east coast. i just recently come across your video; I was in good shape before my wedding as my dinner always done by 5.30pm. After marriage; my in law's time of dinner changed to 8-9pm which is far away different from mine and now i cant stop myself having late dinners. my weight piled and forget about being 80cm waistline - i guess i don't even want to measure since i know i will be in panic attack if i see the figures. Now since i move to my own space - i taught i can easily go back to my old routine; but failed as my husband is still in 8pm window. i decided to make a change and told my last night; i am going to eat my dinner early and wont wait up for u. this morning this video come up and i wont say this is coincidence. thank you for the tips. My main reason i want to change is - to get pregnant and live healthily.

Doctor - Vignesh Mohan, your classmate,is my client. Im an Insulin dependent diabetic and have started taking dinner at 630 PM from 4th Sep . Phenomenal results.Reduced insulin from 64 to 19 units per day. Reduced tablets by 50%. HbA1C reduced from 9 to 8.5. I'm sure it will become normal by Mar 24

I felt like i watched a stand up comedy loaded with healthy information.. thank you Dr. Pal, you r cool. I have started to eat within 16:8 video now. My first meal start at 11am/12pm and my dinner is before 6pm. We just started, and my diabetic mom also follow me as well.

Hello Dr. Pal, started my weight loss journey, this is my fifth week, lost 23lbs, I eat between 9 and 4 pm, low carb, I notice I don't hardly feel hungary as I use to when I was eating a lot of carbs, thanks for sharing your knowledge, all positive advise is priceless.

I m 58 , stayed alone, if I fall sick or even trip down, there's no one who can save me.Hence taking control on oneself with various outlook is damn important. It doesn't matter you live long or short. Stay healthy as long as one can breathe. Let the heart keep ticking.

I had hypertension last year(22 age). Since then I was in tension that I have High BP. Now after doing intermittent fasting, left sugar and minimum oil. It’s reduced to 110/70. I feel more positive and energetic.

I wanted to find a better lifestyle for the body so that in long-run I don't become a diabetic like my parents or suffer from knee pain like my mil. And your suggestion, sunrise to sunset sounds something I can do, so want to give a try. Hi Dr. Pal. I started my fat loss journey today. I'm 28M, 226.4 lbs., 5ft 8". I've always been a fat guy and I'm trying to turn that around. Have started this and given up numerous times before but hopefully will stick to it this time. I did intermittent fasting to tackle diabetes and landed in having not only controlling diabetes but lost weight as well. Intermittent fasting WORKS ! Don’t give up, good luck

I am pre-diabetic, with fasting blood sugar ranging from 113 to 118 ,HbA1c fluctuates between 6 to 6.2 .My waist circumference is 80cm ,upper limit of normal ,your vedeos were an eye opener. I have started time restricted fasting ,7am to 7pm .My fasting blood sugar is below 100 and post Prandial is 120 .Thank you Dr Pal for the motivation . I am working on reducing my waist circumference .Thank you once again .

I honestly enjoyed watching this video. Very informative and funny at the same time. We need to educate the community that prevention is better than cure. How simple lifestyle changes can change one's life and how we can avoid going to hospitals. It's all in our hands. How did we manage to stay without going to the hospital during the PANDEMIC is something we really need to think about

I am having young kid plus need to take my diabetic mom ..am suffering from severe chronic constipation and acidity as well..done endoscopy and colonoscopy also.. Taking medication for acidity..my obesity is the reason..once I lose weight my things will change i believe and your videos are truly eye opener..you are God sent angel

Very Informative video. There is a lot of humor in it. During office days I used to eat before 8, but now with WFH, I am eating at 9:00 ~ 9:30 PM. I think this is one of the reasons my weight is increased by 9Kgs. Now I am decided and I should change the timing again and see the results.

@@Padhu_sagitta hi there. Actually I don't have a meal plan or calorie specific diet. I break my fast at about 10am. Have a simple breakfast. Usually it would be one of these, alternatively. I am non vegetarian. 2 slices toast + 1 half boiled egg + coffee Oats Uppuma Idli / thosai Lunch between 2 to 3pm Rice + vegetables + 1 non veg Or noodles or pasta That's it. I drink loads of water If I get too hungry in the evening, couple of plain crackers. I walk 7km every evening and I fill up with water after my walk and therefore am not hungry. But I initially started with the 7am to 7pm routine.

Our family has started IF after listening to your videos. The main reason for me to take care of my health is that I want to change my lifestyle and live a healthy life. I have RA and that affects my life. I want to get back to leading a normal active life and mage pain without medicines. Currently I finish my dinner by 8. My goal is to finish dinner by 7.

Hi Dr Pal.Greetings from Malaysia. I have adopted this method years bck. I stop eating at 7pm and start my day again the next morning drinking 1 cup of coffee with condensed condensed milk around 9am.My lunch is usually salad with a little carb,nuts,seeds,dried fruits,avocados,hard boiled eggs and protein. I basically eat the same food everyday. Not denying, I also have cheat days more than once a week. And I'm extremely happy with my weight. I'm 46 with two teenage kids.And I'm aware that condensed milk is not a good option but this is the only sugary thing I take..

Love the way you pass a serious msg in a funny way . I have starting doing 16-8 and already see the benefits of it .olden days in villages people used to take a meal before dark ( due to lack of electricity in those days ) , but they are strong even at 80 +!! Live example !!

Your video definitely induced the guilt in me (for my own good). I am on this journey since May and have lost 40 lbs! 40 more to go (the hard part starts).... I wanted to do this to be around for my daughter who is 2 and having a family history of diabetics i should have done this much sooner but better than never! Calorie counting (lose it app), controlling the eating window, daily atleast 10 miles of biking is definitely helping... Weakest of these is the duration aspect... Something that has been a challenge to maintain a good discipline

Hey doc thanks for enlightment. I started jogging two years ago. Now it's my ritual to jog 20 km per week. However didn't loose weight . After applying your methodology miracle happen in just 30 days. I reduce 4.5 kg. I promised to myself that I will never eat after sunset. Thank you so much. God bless for you for your kind work.

@@santoshipednekar8801 He mentioned so many things like dinner before sunset and no other stuff, not even milk ( drink only water) There is a thin line between thirst and hunger. I incorporate one more thing , skipping lunch and replace with fruits. This makes my body light during daytime and getting more time for work at office.

I want to change my lifestyle due to health issue knee pain,back pain and bloating. Now i understood eating at late night and no fasting continously munching chiwada, sweet or biscuit. Unhealthy pattern from last 10 year leads to overweight 95kg with all problems. Change required to live healthy life and enjoy playing with my children

Iam started my intermittent fasting on 13.06.21 at that time my weight 86.800. today 13.8.21 my weight is 82.100. pal sir you are my inspiration sir.my eating window 8am to 6pm fasting window 6pm to next day 8am it really works very well.i reduced 4kg 700 grams in 60 days 👍👍👍👍👍

The order in which you eat your food groups is also important- salads, raw veggies/ cooked vegetables due to the fiber; protein next, healthy fats (avocados, nuts) followed by complex carbohydrates. Move for 10 minutes after each meal. It will help with insulin sensitivity. Insulin Goddess talks a lot about this. Thanks Dr.Pal for providing good health education.

4months ago- I started with 9:30Am-6:30pm -eating window-rest fasting window. Now- my eating window is 12:00Pm-5:30pm rest fasting window. Results - lost 10kgs with very very slight workout/no workout. I can continue this for years happily. Thanks to you doctor. I come back and check your videos for all the motivation. (Boiled veggies with chicken/egg/soyachunk/paneer-for lunch(12:00pm) and 1banana Evening 2pesarattu/moongdal dosa and chutney(coconut/peanut/tomato)with a cup of tea(with milk and brown sugar) and 1banana. Sunday will be chicken curry with rice as a cheat day.

April 20 to Aug 13 (today) - Reduced from 103 cms to 95.5 cms. Eating window 9:30 to 7pm. Lost 4.5kgs. Another 5 cms to go to hit the magic 90cms.

I was very lean 5 yrs back but after my first son's birth I too guided by the misconceptions of eating a lot will produce more food for the baby and I ate everything under the sun and the result is still after haveing two kids I look like 7 months pregnant (belly fat)... My husband also have belly fat I adviced him to take care of his health but he's not listening to me so it is my responsibility to be healthy for my kids so I started IM from the past ten days feeling little good but it's difficult sometimes to get rid of the cravings of vada and other snacks... Before my birthday I feel so confident myself. After my twin boys delivery at 2015, I have normal body weight 50kg but 3 years before I gained so much weight (62kg/ 154cm). Because I eat so many unwanted stuffs like pizza, burger and carbonated drinks, ice creams, no. Of coffee etc... I just imagine the aforementioned all if I want to do research or writing works. After that I have lost my confidence, tiredness, big belly and back pain etc. Everyone ask me you pregnant again and some people gave me the priority seat in train. I feel so sad. I always think how-to hide my belly and kind of clothes I wear😢. But now I'm 🔙 😊

Dr. Pal: I agree, Yet I struggle with the skin that remains from weight loss thus far. I struggle also with losing my weight loss goal from 179- to 135. After some 18 months my gut health is good prebototics, as internal fat is my first concern.I’m 86 yr female 40 yr vegetarian.And if I don’t reach all of my dietary goals it has been a blessing the help you and others have given. Always open to sound medical advice. God knows it is sorely missing from my PC and the western world of medicine.I am non diabetic high blood cholesterol kidney liver problem and etc.S.A. I was told about this intermittent fasting by my sister. But I didn't take it seriously but then after seeing your videos, I thought I would give it a try. Earlier based on my husband's meeting time the dinner time would differ from 8 to 9:30 pm. But now we made it a point to have it at sharp 6:45 to 7:15 pm whatever the circumstances be. After doing this for a week we could see that earlier we had heart burn and that has reduced drastically and also my weight has reduced 800 g. I was really shocked seeing the results and also my food cravings for sweets/icecream/chocolates has reduced so much. Now our eating window is between 9:15 am to 7:15 pm. Thank you so much for all your videos and information that you share.

Thank you for educating us. I truly benefited by your suggestions. I have changed my dinner time. I eat early. I feel good in the morning. I do not have bloating. I also do a bit of exercise in the evening. My knees used to hurt, but now they don't. I do keep a approximate count of what and how much i eat. Thank you.
