Never use a clients vehicle.. It's a liability waiting to happen. You have to explain that if they want vehicular patrols it must be with your vehicle because you should have commercial insurance for said vehicle.

I’ve tend to notice that religious organizations such as churches, temples or a Muslim mosque pay much higher than malls, grocery stores or even banks at times. Grocery stores tend to start off at a pay rate of $13-$16 yet a church or mosque goes from $18-$30 yet it’s less hours a day. I work as an unarmed Security Officer with my phase one security credentials in Philadelphia.

@@commanderhall848 I charge vehicles separately, as most other companies do. Most companies charge around $350 to $850 additional per month per vehicle used on top of what the guards are making. So I charge 22.50 per man hour on the low end (unarmed) starting rate that varies plus the cost of the vehicle. Now if it's Armed I charge about $25 to $30 plus the vehicle. It also depends on the type of work. EP for example could be 45 an hour per guy plus a 1000 weekly for vehicle since most of the times they are rentals.

@Commander Hall great video. In all, it's always about presentation and value of the services offered. From my experience, the tactics for price negotiation I use include 25 percent upcharge for the security company as well as the umbrella company I have, which gives me room to lower the price but still able to pay my specialists and supervisors along with all associated equipment they come with (i.e.: vehicles, radios, patrol software, etc.). Also correct methodology on a 24-72 hour basis. Always double the charge at least for the first 7 days. Great video!!!
@commanderhall848
@commanderhall848 2 жыл бұрын
@@michaelhopkins8407 so if a client wanted your services for let's say a year ,would you require any funds upfront? Or would it start on the first of every month ,one large lump sum
@michaelhopkins8407
@michaelhopkins8407 2 жыл бұрын
@@commanderhall848 so if it's a 6 month or less, I do 25% up front and charge at the end of each month. For 12 months, it's 15% and 2-5 years, it's 10%. Percentage is based on the total cost. This also allows me to pay my sales persons 5% of the contract since they are commissioned base only.
