Reach out to friends and organizations if you get worried or scared again! (if it happens, you may be able to take some sort of action that could help you feel better--talking to other people can help increase your awareness of what's available, I know it's helped me immensely with my stuff bc I kept making the mistake of thinking I already knew everything I could do for my situation) Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!

Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You! Kindof excited for Nattie's ongoing work. Talking about maladaptive thinking and how to change it is 99% of my outpatient addiction recovery stuff and it's been amazing seeing how people from all different backgrounds are able to engage with that conversation when we're all there to talk about a common issue that impacts us. It's really opened my eyes to the fact that someone doesn't have to be "especially clever" to grow as a person, because human beings just... ARE clever. And it's helped me get over some of the stuff I was telling myself, about how I as irrevocably broken and if none of the services, medications, quality of life improvements, etc, that I've done have fully "cured" me of depression, then group therapy certainly wasn't going to make a difference. Well, it is making a difference. A huge one. The only problem is that no one in my outpatient group wants to talk about Sherlock particularly. :3 So yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree, I have always been interested in story structure, how humans use story to make sense of our "inner landscape" etc, but I never really had the chance to study it the way I would have liked. I think I have learned more in this fandom than I did in college (although, probably that was a good foundation for this). I am also reminded a little bit of the "extras" on the LOTR extended dvds, which were like a condensed film school on lighting, costume, music, etc. But the hours this fandom has put in far surpasses that. I'm bowled over by the amount of expertise we bring together.

I love tjlc, I started believing thanks to all of you and now I'm so excited for season 4 and canon Johnlock. Especially a huge thank you to you, Rebekah. It's been awhile since season four was over. And I can truly say I'm still not over it. All the waiting and arguing with people about johnlock was for nothing. I'm still heartbroken. It's cruel. A kiss would have been so easy to do. So easy to put In there. It would have made so many people happy. But no. The awful creators of the show couldn't put that in there. Overall, the ending was sloppy. And there were far too many plot holes. Maybe it would have been better had they listened to fans. We could have made a far better fucking end to the show.
