It's a strange kind of juvenile thinking "get rid of" like tossing someone in the trash instead of saying "hey, I'm sorry but this isn't working out and I wanna split". I do the latter and guys really do rage about it rather than saying "thanks for not cheating on me or thanks for not dragging this out into eternity". Instead they're like "how daaaaaaare you leave me" 🤯

I've seen a couple of crime docs about this. What's really bizarre, is after the husband was killed, the two lovers -for whatever they were - never spoke to each other again.
@lindaaitken7679

This might be really cynical, but I think the women involved groomed the male lovers into killing- having no intentions of carrying on a relationship with them after the crime
@lucillemooney6072
@lucillemooney6072 8 ай бұрын
Their original plan was to be together after the murder. Their lawyers told them if they pursued a relationship they would look really guilty and everyone would (rightly) suspect them. So their lawyers strongly advised them to go their separate ways. Because they did, they had 19 years of freedom before they were charged
@Blade56762
@Blade56762 2 ай бұрын
@@lindaaitken7679 It's ALWAYS the woman. It's a pity men are so easily manipulated into obtaining a weapon, planning the killing, finding the victim and then getting close enough to them to emotionlessly murder them. My analysis is that it's possible that women have these bewitchingly irresistible powers, and men too short sighted and/or stupid to resist their extreme sexual urges. On the positive side, so many of these killers are devout followers of their god and can rest assured that heavenly forgiveness is only a prayer away. Particularly as He understands the natural superiority of the male human, except when under the influence of the sinful women. Or perhaps they are all just horrible people.

I believe Melinda experienced schadenfreude, that is, pleasure, joy and self-satisfaction from the troubles, failures and humiliation of others. She set that pattern early on in life as you described her being a tattletale even over the smallest most inane of infractions and carried that behavior into adulthood e.g. outing the dean over an alleged affair he was having. She seemingly continued with that pattern enjoying taunting and watching Mark suffer with his lust for her. I also imagine Melinda enjoyed seeing her husband suffer for gluttony?? (in her eyes) by being beat to death with a crowbar. All the while, she smiles in her pictures like a little innocent princess.

Melinda was a family friend of mine growing up. She was pretty much an aunt to me. Her husband is my mother’s boss currently. She has all the attributes of a sociopath. Overly smiley, bubbly and upbeat to the point of being creepy. She was involved in this murder and shows no signs of guilt or shame. When she was released and resumed her friendship with my parents there was no apology or attempt at reconciliation. My family has forgiven her because she was “young then” and “has made peace with the lord”. I am alone in my feelings of disgust and am moved to tears when I think about my mom handing me the phone to talk to Melinda while she was in prison. I stopped going to the dentist office that her husband owns and maintain that she is an absolute monster. What a shame what the Nazarene church can produce and how lackluster our judicial system is when it comes to horrible crimes such as these. Every year my family visits the Raischs 1+ million dollar home for their annual New Year’s party while I am told that I need to forgive and get over it. What an absolute shame. Her and Mark Mangelsdorf deserve to rot in prison.

Both Mark and Melinda were living comfortable lies for 20 years. I’m sure they were looking over their shoulders but they were both successful and productive. Imagine their spouses and children when they found out that their father/husband and mother/wife were implicated in a murder from two decades prior.

The guy at the hardware store gave a poor recommendation. Most spouse killers go for an axe or a stay-sharp knife. They usually get a couple of bottles of bleach too.

Why do people insist in screwing up their lives? Just get divorced. No need for jail cells and shackles and having someone named Bruno take a liking to you as you learn he's your new cellmate.

Too much to lose in a divorce or a lot to gain. Either way, it's often about greed, callousness, & selfishness.

That’s obviously why they do it, but that will ruin your life a lot more than a divorce! Also, no one has the right to take someone else’s life!

Hi Dr G. Another case of cheaters unleashed. There's no excuse for their fake behavior. Either you're married or single, you can't be both. They're cowards for killing him while he was asleep in bed. If that's the only way they could fight, why bother? Good analysis as always Doc. Will watch again, peace to you & yours, love, Janine Smiley🫣🤫🤔🙂🙃🫠😇🥰😍✌️🧸🍭☕️🍩☕️🥯🆒️🛝💙🚙🤍🖤

@@janinemccartha1811 the grass always looks greener. Satan tempts people to destroy them. But that's when all that scriptural training should have been put to use......to deny the flesh and honor their marriage for better or worse. Mark should have parted company with the couple. Talked to a Church elder and moved away. Horrifying what happened!

The reality is a lot of religions do not believe in divorce and they believe that even if you are divorced and you're with someone else you are living in adultery. The belief is you can be forgiven for murder but if you're actually living in adultery then you are living in sin. So for a lot of religious people murder is more forgivable than adultery.

Dr. Grande: you have a great way of drawing people to your channel! Your analysis of these cases coupled with your "serious demeanor" intrigues me & that rarely happens!👈 However, I would not want you walking behind me at night down a "dark alley." HANDS DOWN: You would have been a "smashing success" hosting Twilight Zone or Alfred Hitchcock. PEACE OUT!👈💯💤
