Todd, you have brought me back full circle and lifted the vail, and placed me back onto the path I was traveling so many years ago (when I was in my 20s & close to my breakthrough). Like you, I went through tremendous suffering and loss that derailed me for decades. This morning, with tears in eyes, I picked up my cellphone and hopped on youtube. And found this video you shared that led me back to that journey I was on so long ago. Thank you, dear man, for shining the light on that path. "Now I know why the Buddha laughs." May God bless you a thousand fold. Namaste, Sandy ❤❤❤ ❤❤❤

We are drawn to the negative because it’s easier to be that way. Don’t have to do the work to realize ourselves until it’s too late. We fall and fail and become depressed. We have lost the ability to love ourselves.

Wow! Todd, I've listened to all of your podcasts and videos. This new one is without doubt the one that has touched me the most. In 2018 the most important person in my life passed away, that was my mother. On July 26th I had a triple bypass, a complicated one which left me in a deep depression. I was in constant pain. Regarding alcohol, our stories are very similar. Anyways, your talks helped me through all of this. My bypass surgery, I've learned to accept it, last June I had a knee replacement, and this past April I had a second one. I never meditated until I started listening to you Thank you for giving me a different outlook on life. Thank you for making a difference!!

Todd, I have seen many of your videos which I have very much appreciated. This video however, has touched me in a very profound way, different from other videos of yours. Hearing you describe your life and what you experienced in the 9 years you were away on your spiritual journey, and what happened when you arrived back in the U.S., had me riveted to each word you spoke. Your vulnerability, authenticity & courage come through loud & clear. Thank you for sharing this with us. 🙏 I have actively been on my personal spiritual journey for almost 2 years. I thought I was extremely knowledgeable & deeply spiritual for decades, until something unexpected happened in August 2022, that showed me otherwise. I had only been scratching the surface of my self-help/spiritual journey. I was at the tip of an iceberg, never having searched deep down underneath the surface to see what was really going on inside myself. When this devastating event happened to me in August 2022, I knew I did not have the tools or even a notion, of how I was going to heal from the excruciating heartache I was experiencing. That's when I realized I had trapped myself in a corner for years, and the time had come to help myself get out of that corner. Your video is an example of what can happen in our lives when we learn what it means to let go and surrender. No matter how stormy the sea can be with its monstrous waves and constant thunder and lightning booming from the sky, once Divine inner peace has been accepted and received in our beings, it won't matter what goes on outside of ourselves, peace and calm will keep us where it's best to be. Our soul already knows this, and possesses this knowledge, because our blueprint has been placed inside of us when we arrived in the world. We just need to uncover everything that has layered over our soul so far. That's where I'm at.🙏 Thank you again Tood 🙏
@ricksawyer91027 ай бұрын

Todd I was also a man of extremes. But now the one extreme I am into is avoiding pleasures and abiding in the self. At points in meditation I seem to loose my body and that high is inexplicable. Who are we, Why are we here? are questions that are slowly getting answered. I wish you the best on your journey...may we meet one day in the astral plane...Om Shanti ❤

What an amazing story - thank you so much for sharing…. You travelled all the way to India to find your inner peace, to release those addictions, to meditate, or maybe meditation is what lead you to ur peace? And your story will inspire many… However, I had to respond to your story - I endured an awakening/ rebirth over 2 years ago. I went through an EXTREME TRANSFORMATION IN ONE SINGLE DAY! I didn’t meditate, I had no one helping me, coaching me, teaching me- I had Spirit/God! I SURRENDERED! I totally surrendered every bit of my will/ my worldly desires, worldly addictions, all the negative desires of the world- I overcame the world!!! Spirit said to me on this exact day- my peace will NEVER LEAVE YOU! 2 years and 3 months later- the peace of God has never left me!!! What did I give up- smoking of 47 years, drinking daily to exist in life, doing drugs to escape my reality, amongst others… What did I gain- everything……….. Not one desire to drink, smoke, or ‘do drugs ever again! Every fear I felt was GONE! The EGO that controlled ME for so long had surrendered… There is so much MORE to tell, maybe someday I’ll write about it. But just know- I didn’t leave my home when all this took place… And though I didn’t know what meditation was really back then, I did what I called communing with God for 8 months daily… I had a “BLISS” for 14 days that felt like heaven had come to earth for me. Why 14 days I do not know and strive to get to that state again.. I later said that I felt like I came into unity with Christ or Christ-consciousness…. Just remember if you seem long enough- you will find… Never give up… peace love and light to you all

Life is a mirror of our subconscious, right? i'm thinking out loud here. So, any fear, anxiety etc will show up in your "reality" and the internet is fuelled with those. I was thinking about my life before i started heavily consuming the internet and post that. It is almost like the more 'ignorant' i was to current even the more blissful i was and it's almost like the more i learned of 'chaos' in the world, the more i invited it in to this reality. Like back when I never read news, or watched news, reddit, twitter everything in my life was just all fun and parties, filled with friends but since 2012, everything has gone a different direction, which is exactly when i started watching news, learning about the 'world' going online a lot etc. holly sht as i type this it is hitting me. What if our world is just a manifestation of whatever we consume? and ignorance really is bliss? What if consuming anything which settles in our subconscious will then liteally materialize in our world?

Should we spend our life helping others putting ourselves in stressful situations like war zones helping victims and feeling that trauma…or should we live looking inwardly to find inner peace but with the guilt that we are blinkering ourselves to those out there who need us? In other words what’s a meaningful life being a firefighter rescuing others or a Buddhist in a monastery?

We are conditioned to work in a fast-paced world, achieve more and more material things, numb our minds with alcohol, food, technology, immediate gratification which only leads to a greater void inside our spiritual hearts. You videos remind us of the TRUTH and WISDOM that is deep within all of us which we can access in moments of silence. I am grateful for being reminded to practice STILLNESS! Namaste
