I've been watching videos on this pedal and this is the first one that I've actually learned anything from...! Its clear and helpful. Thanks.

Hi.. Helpful video and great tone. Could you please made this tone/ preset available via tone net capture for worship??🙏🏻

How we connect this direct to PA since it doesn't have an XLR out? No-one has really clarified that yet
@sundaytone8 ай бұрын
Yea - good question. You need to use a DI box or Line Isolator to convert to XLR.

Great video. Can you explain how would you connect 2 tonex ones for stereo output? What gear do you need and which cable goes where

I didn’t see any video showing how it works as an audio interface. How good does it sound as an audio interface? Can I do professional recording using the ToneX One as an audio interface? Thank you!

Would you recommend getting the tone x (or tone x one) to go with the HX stomp XL for eg ?
@jackprice78288 ай бұрын
I have used the HX Stomp for worship now for about 5 years. It's been a workhorse and the tones are great for electric or acoustic. But from what I am hearing from all the ToneX videos, the amp models sound incredible. Would you say that the ToneX models are as good or better than the Helix models?

Hey i was wondering if you can change the eq settings or gain when using a drive capture in stomp mode.

Yes you can

How does it handle stereo reverb/ delay. I have a Meris lvx and Meris mercury x. Can it produce stereo sounds? Thank you!
@sundaytone9 ай бұрын
It sounds great with wet effects. If you had two Tonex One pedals you could run them at the end of your chain or you could use one and run your wet effects after to keep stereo.

Like your tone! Do you have any of your captures on Tone net?
@sundaytone8 ай бұрын
Thank you! I don’t have any captures but I used captures from Worship Tutorials and The Tone Shepherd in this video. I believe WT has some on ToneNet.

I have a Helix. Is this Tonex able to get super clean tones? I'm not talking classic Fender, Vox etc with edge. I'm thinking super clean like Roland Jazz Chorus or direct sounding tracks like classic funky tracks
@sundaytone8 ай бұрын
I know you can get Jazz Chorus captures but I haven't tried them. I'm sure you can find a capture that would work for that type of sound.

Fantastic content! Could the pedal be used simply as a reverb pedal instead of a regular reverb pedal ti be used with a regular amp? Thanks! Blessings from England

Do you have to have a computer to set it up on?
@sundaytone9 ай бұрын
It comes with captures already loaded but if you want to load new captures that you download you need to add them on a computer.

Thanks for the info. Can you use this directly into a PA bypassing an amp and how does sound?
@sundaytone9 ай бұрын
Yes- you need a DI or Line isolator to convert to XLR but it sounds awesome. I use Tonex live every week.

Are you going downsize from the full size ones?
@sundaytone8 ай бұрын
For now I am going to keep the full size Tonex pedals and use this as a drive pedal. I want to try capturing some of my drive pedals.
@louaguado9958 ай бұрын
Meh, I've used multi effects pedals by Zoom, Valeton, and Mooer with hundreds of banks and a built-in expression pedal that sounded just as good for less money. 🤷♂️🙄

This is a very cool pedal, but it's definitely not for me. I do see the practical applications for some people, but I'm an ol' school guitar player. I got my guitar, my rig, my Marshall amp and I get great tone out of them. And, I definitely don't want to add a laptop to my rig. I guess it's the same reason my band plays live, as we are, and with no backing tracks. We play the ol' school way. Oddly enough, I think that things can sometimes get unnecessarily advanced. Progress is supposed to be a good thing, but I don't think that's the case all the time. We create a device like this one, with great intention, but it just seems like we're reinventing the wheel. For some people, like me, it seems like an unnecessary over reach. Like we're fixing things that aren't broken. I dunno, maybe I'm just too old to keep up. All I know is that I find great comfort in my current set up and I wouldn't dream of disturbing that. Again, I'm not knocking this pedal. It's just not for me, but I wanted to explain why.
