Tony, there isn’t really any boxing clubs in Dumfries, Scotland. Could you do a full boxing drill, 20 minutes hiit or something on the “century Bob” or something close to an equivalent? I do weights 3 times a week and run, but would love to add something like this to my training. Love your content, seem a totally humble guy for all you have achieved.👍

Keeping weight on the front foot, not leaning too much, keeping hand up, and punching to the body as part of the roll are all useful for an issue with rolling I find a lot in my sparring. I practice jeet kune do, and we spar almost every class. Often, when I throw a hook or cross, my partner will roll, heavily leaning forward. All I need to do then is clinch. I have control of the head and can go for a guillotine choke, or tap the back of the head (not punch, just enough to let him know that in a fight, he'd take a punch to the back of the head, which is extremely dangerous).

Hi Tony ! Hope you are fine. Thank you for your tutorials. Questions: In many boxing fights I see MIKE TYSON leaning very much forward while rolling. What would you say. Is it ok, because he still have his eyes on his opponent and he is a professional (he knows what he's is doing) ? Or would you say, his leaning forward is a little bit too much ?

I like it, but stepping 90 degrees to the side leaves you open for a left hook. I was taught to step in at 45 degrees so yor head comes in under the armpit and you come up with your forehead resting on the outside of the shoulder. This takes you out of range, you are safe and in full control to do whatever you want.
