I love the fact that on clip 1, the construction workers at least tried to make things better, even if they didn't know they would cause more damage. If they had left the mud on the paint, it would've just taken a pressure washer to get it off. At least they acknowledged they messed up

@@RiverRatWA57 "with only a broken bone" Probably protective gear and a good portion of luck, I am genuinely happy for you. She failed to do the very simple thing of first looking left, then right, then left again. It could have ended very badly, especially since the biker in the clip wears no protective gear other than the mandated helmet. To me it appears he has no respect for the bike *at all*. He has every right to be mad though - but getting physical is not a way to let the adrenaline induced anger pang out. The guy has anger management issues. She should have pressed charges for the broken mirror though. She did a very dangerous and irresponsible thing, he did property damage. Like you, I was broardsided once. This was on a bicycle however, but I did go 20 mph. I was wearing my helmet, jeans and a heavy jacket, escaped with a bruised hip and arm, in part thanks to the sturdy clothing. My arm would have looked like I don't know what if I had worn only a tshirt like the biker in the clip. I ended up at the far side of the intersection, after sliding across three lanes. I wasn't even mad at the driver who, on the other hand, was scared and started yelling. I could have kicked the passenger side door, broken the window, mirror or both but what good would that do? She got a scare and likely learned something from it like the driver in the clip hopefully did. I learned to always expect that other drivers never pay attention. This has saved me from harm at least once later.

I am so grateful to the Tesla driver who did'nt just drive away when he found his Tesla scratched on every side in the parking lot. The intoxicated driver who scratched several cars would have no doubt drove away and might have killed an entire family escaping the damage he caused. My heart goes out to anyone who owns a nice car these days including these Tesla's. Tesla cam's are catching the sick people who simply refuse to leave other peoples property alone. These people don't understand the years it took to earn the money to buy these nice cars. All they know is that they will never put forth that effort and the owner should be as miserable as they are. To every police officer who responds and actually tracks these criminals down. Thank you. Tesla, thanks for those camera's. They make a positive difference everyday.

I dont understand US insurance policies. In Denmark as a car owner it is mandatory to have a insurance that covers the damage you do to others while driving. Meaning regardless of the cost of the damages your insurance company covers the cost. If you aren’t insured the state covers the cost of the damages and then you owe the state the full amounts. That way person that suffers the damages is covered in any scenario.
@robertheinkel62252 жыл бұрын
In the US, each state set the minimum insurance requirements. Technically, you can sue for the difference between damages and coverages, but good luck in collecting. It is better to carry uninsured/underinsured coverage if it is available.
