@@NaomiBarocsi - I don't think the LK2 soundtrack is "bad" by any stretch. "He Lives In You" is an amazing song, and "My Lullaby" goes way harder than it has any right to lol. I just think that as a whole, the lyrics to the songs in LK2 are lacking, especially in comparison to the original film. They don't flow as well as the original and some feel forced. Yeah, it's one of the well made older Disney movies, and all the songs in it are interesting except in my opinion "Perfect isn't easy". That one sounds kind-of annoying when you listen to it, and is sung by the character who from her selfish behaviour and her thinking that she's "the cat's ass," (or as Dodger would say "The Champ") shows herself as pretty much the second villian in that 1988 release movie. PS, a few years ago my mother called it: The Georgette Song" and I don't know why but I break into hysterical laughter each time I remember that she did that.😂

Pink elephants on parade should have been an honorable mention. And Baby of mine should have been in there, like, that one is still heartbreaking.

"Give it to your sister and never wonder if the dame pressure would've pulled you under". My mom beats herself up so bad for not realizing how much pressure I was under as a teen be ause "Gracie's the strong one" "she can handle anything". We had such a good relationship she thought id come to her if anything was really wrong but I kept it all in because I saw her dealing with ither things and didnt want to burden her. This is, of course, a child's thinking as I know now it wouldnt have burdened her but now i have no coping skills and that lead me down a very self destructive path right after high school. Just now getting back on track. Talk to someone! Its so much better to get it out now instead of waiting until the pot boils over while you're still trying to add more water

I would have thought that Friends on the other side would be in the top five, or even first. Great list, tons of fun and nostalgia to watch.

I kind of like the Pressure song from Encanto (if I typed the name of the song wrong ny bad, hold your horses warriors). Anyways, the song and images go well together, especially the analogy seen within the images of how gigantic Louisa feels the responsibility build on her, such as comparing her with Hercules to Sisyphus. Plus, if anyone actually looks at the meaning behind names, Louisa actually is the Garman name for warrior, or famous warrior. So all the metaphors link together quite cohesively.

I can't believe there are no coco songs in this and that Cruela is only an honorable mention, but I do absolutely love a lot of the songs on this list.

Coco is Pixar and they said Pixar would not be on this list.

If this isn't a list of 30 songs from my favourite Disney playlist, I don't know what is!

Although I love "Strangers Like Me" the most, "You'll Be in My Heart" is the most precious to me. During dancing to that song in our new appartment I realised that I want to marry my girlfriend, so few months later I proposed to her while playing this song in the background. It even wound up as our first dance song at our wedding. And later I sang it every day to my pregnant wife and our little daughter in her belly. This song will always be in our hearts

Before I even watch this, if there's not at least 1 song from Tarzan, I'm going to riot.

Haven’t seen what you rank first yet but all brother bear songs better be in #1 place, ”Great spirits” and also ”you’ll be in my heart” from Tarzan slaps harder than circle of life or any other overrated song!❤️

Great spirits is extremely underrated.

If you really want a hard hitting song, then you have to list 'The Next Right Thing' from Frozen II. It's literally about falling into and finding your way out of depression. Such a powerful song.

"Under the Sea" should have been at least #10, but I think #8. It's better than "Let It Go", "Hellfire", and maybe "Be Prepared" and "Be Our Guest". There. I said it.

This list must have been a challenge to pick, so many iconic songs. I would recommend Dumbo: Baby Mine. It’s a heartbreaking piece: a mother being separated from her child, something too many people have experienced. But such beautiful vocals. I’ll let you decide where it belongs on the list though.
