Simply outstanding. Effective, "simple" techniques...very clearly taught so that even non-jiu jitsu guys like me can follow. Wish I could train with you guys, but these videos are teaching me volumes. Keep up the great work gentlemen.

This is some of the best videos on KZbin. A great mixture of combative jujitsu for the cage or street. Very functional without the flashy techniques that don't work.

Dan Henderson taught me how to front choke. It was my number 1 sub, he has a different style though, it can make your training partner loose his voice for a few months though so be nice

As a fighter just being the guy getting taught just allowing the choke hold to take affect hits the oozy spot. I showed my son how to front choke body leg lock, extend, showed him this vid to get a better idea and after he was practicing on dad myself lol he got the choke locked it and I was like damn just having the technique a 12 year old just hitting the right points could make an adult hit the floor for sure..

@@tritacacademy it happens if my son can take me at 12 he’s gonna be an animal if he decides to keep going. But I’m leaving it up to him: and will continue to be the practice dummy lol.

Seriously BJJ guys, stop teaching ground work as self defense. Most times men are attacked by more than one person. These standing chokes are great, but getting a kick in the head can end your life. Sometimes we're on the ground, but getting up should be priority for self defence (and full respect for BJJ, I love it).

Was the takedown choke a D'arce choke?

Monday September 11,2023 2133hrs Close. Catch wrestlers call it a REVERSE DARCE CHOKE, but BJJ practicioners refer to it specifically as THE ANACONDA CHOKE, which is the reverse of THE DARCE CHOKE. Here is how my BJJ COACH told us how to remember the difference between the DARCE and ANACONDA CHOKE. Look at the 2nd letter of both THE DARCE and ANACONDA. DARCE....The 2nd letter is A, therefore your arm ENTERS through the opponents ARM and EXITS by his NECK. The ANACONDA CHOKE is the exact reverse/opposite. The 2nd letter is N, so your arm ENTERS by your opponents NECK and EXITS through his ARMPIT. Hope that helps.
