For those who lack in shoulder mobility a good variation for overhead press should be using parallel grip with dumbells. Start proneted and turn while you pull. You should stress less shoulder ligaments and work without compensate, I'm talking for my experiece

I loved doing these exercises on Fight Ready. I definitely feel that they helped me with punching power. Just wondering, though, for the folks recovering from tennis elbow, would it be ok with you to do a Dumbbell close grip variation for the Z-Press and Floor Press?

Thanks for the very informative video. Can you do all of these on the assisted squat rack as it may be less pressure on the joints, or do you recommend a free barbell only here??

Phil Daru certainly knows his stuff when it comes to strength training. But I question his credentials for training MMA fighters. All of his videos are about strength training. He's essentially a powerlifter. He has a record in MMA of 4 losses and 1 win. If a bonafide boxing trainer was training him they would make him drop a lot of weight. He's built like powerlifter, as I stated before; not like a fighter.
