Hey! One of my favorite upgrades is my carpet. It makes such a difference in noise and heat! Power steering and six brakes are also top on my list. Great video!

I would argue that electronic ignition hands down makes a massive difference. I'm running a Jacobs ignition and a Mallory distributor and it made my 73 feel like a limo.

my list for an 81 full-size, weatherstripping and window guides, fix rust holes in floor, use rubberized undercoating for the floor, I use my truck carpets going to get ruined quick, disc brakes all around, fuel injection system (holley sniper 2bbl more than enough for a 300cui 6cyl) Truetrac in the rear diff is nice

#1. No rims larger than 15 inches. NO EXCEPTIONS. Fad phags need to get a new diesel truck to ruin with 34" rims and 36" tires. Steve

I'm glad I do'nt because it's realy easy to just keep droping big dollars in to this crazy horses. Belive me it keeps me busy enough. Good thing my wife loves those weekend rides on the trails and love exploring as much as I do. Thanks buddy great info and tips. Tnx

Best up grades on my 88 bronco are 1990 f350 axles and cage off rd radius arms and deaver leafs. 2nd, np435/208 . 3rd my daughter Britney starting to build her 78 bronco she got ten years ago when she was 6 years old.

You think I can upgrade my axcels on my 70 Bronco for f150 or F250 or F350 trucks, like power brakes and power steering? Would love to upgrade to disc brakes from some F series.

@@elmorcielagomorcielago1146 YES ABSOLUTELY. You can easily put a Dana 60 up front and the sterling 10.50 in the rear into any bronco. Nice thing about the newer superduty axles is the still use a radius arm. I'd look for a f350 over a f250 because the f250 gets a weaker front differential. Gas engine trucks get 4.10 ratio diesel pickups get 3.73

I'd rather go to the junk yard and get better deal and better quality than what they sell online. Also they told me that you could'nt put a 351W in a early Bronco, sombody said the hell you cant. Fits like a glooovve..! Tnk U, C U out on the trails and dunes.

@@elmorcielagomorcielago1146 if you got the time and money. Anything can be done. Full size axles will be wider then the early bronco axles. They can be narrowed if you know what your doing. I've seen early broncos with 460s , Cummins 4bt, Cummins 6bt, 351w stroked to 408. Chevy LS , the awesome part about building off rd trucks is the dream is all yours. To be honest, the axles sold by vendors built for the bronco are likely stronger then going to wrecking yard axles. Dynatrac make really awesome axles. The 9 inch in the rear of your bronco I wouldn't swap out I'd just upgrade a few things. I ran 18x39.5x15 superswamper boggers on a rear 9 inch for years with no mods and no troubles. If you have a early Dana 30 up front swap to a modern dynatrac dana44 and your styling. Unless your thinking of tires bigger then 39s. If your plan is 42s or bigger you'll want some big iron under it like a pro rock 60 front and 70 rear

@@timharper9566 Not a kid. Own a 67 ORIGINAL Ford Bronco, and a 16 GT Stang with a super 5.0 coyote. Love them both. Just trying to make an argument that because a resto model sells for over 100k, makes it worth the time and 80k you dump into it, is counterintuitive. So go hurl insults somewhere else. I could buy and sell you.

@@3cardick you just proved me right. If I put 80k into a restomod and sell it for 100k+ I'm making at least 20k profit. How is that counterintuitive? There's no loss of value. Don't get me wrong I love the original Broncos kept just how they are, but saying that when people mod them and put some real money into a build and then sell it for a profit is a loss of value? I don't see where you're getting that from.
