It is a barefoot sculpting routine that never stops moving so you burn fat while strengthening and defining your entire body. Using both the upper and lower body at the same time in compounds moves you get the job done much more quickly and effectively than isolating various muscle groups! It is a low-impact workout that can be done in a small space with just a set of light dumbbells or soup cans if you don't have any! Even though short, this workout kicked my butt! My arms and shoulders were burning with small weights and my glutes and thighs were shaking by the end. Thanks for a great, quick workout!

I forgot to comment on your workouts yesterday so I'm doing it today ☺️. I had very little space yesterday but I wanted something dynamic and sweaty 😀 so I did this one and then was the very right choice ☺️. Love the workouts that engage upper and lower body. They make me feel like I'm doing a better job 😀. Thank you, Linda!

Decided to have an active rest day so wanted to do something really easy, light and relaxing and was sure this one was easy 😁! How wrong I was 😁! I loved it! I'm really amazed how many interesting and challenging moves and exersices you have! How do they come to your mind, Linda?

Added this one to your Cardio Boxing Workout - BARLATES BODY BLITZ Torch and Tone BOX. OMG! That's a really challenging and tough one! It's my second time with this workout and it didn't seem even tiny easier. I even had to drop my 0.5 kg weights somewhere in the middle. It doesn't seem hard in the beginnig 😁 and you don't think you are doing real work buuuut I was sweating and my total body was screaming 😁 and it feels great when I'm done with it! Love the orkout! Thank you, Linda!

+Jen R thanks! It is amazing how sore you get from such light hand weights. I have found that this type of training is the best for me to build lean definition without bulk :)

+Linda Wooldridge Thanks, Linda. I found out about Barlates at the Videofitness forum and this was the first of your workouts I've done. I've been an exerciser my whole adult life and am now 62 and still at it. I got a great cardio effect from this workout as well, will be looking for some more workouts with you.

+Jen R good on you for keeping it up! I find with the light hand weights you can move faster without the threat of injury so you do get a lot more cardio effect.

This was great!! Your workouts are really helping me to increase strength in my shoulders and triceps, which has been a struggle. Also, I am seeing huge improvements in my coordination. Thanks so much!!

I agree, these faster paced workouts definitely help with coordination! I find the light hand weights burn out my triceps and shoulders a lot more than heavy weights do. I am usually still sore every time after doing light hand weight exercises for triceps.

Linda, could you do a workout video that specifically targets the rhomboid muscle? :) Even though almost all your videos are still a challenge for me, I think this one could be of great help to a lot of people who sit at their desks too much.
