This is our favorite design, only thing we'd change is move the fireplace to the back wall beside the patio door area and then turn that wall that currently has the fireplace into a full glass prow wall like several other Golden Eagle homes have.

Beautiful home.Package price and turnkey price are way different .I froze the screen and the $297,000 package price jumps to over $600,000 turnkey.This doesn't include your land, access road power, well/ septic.. These costs could easily add another $200,000 to the price making this 2000 square foot log homes price soar to over $800,000. Beautiful home but very very expensive.

Is that mainly due to the giant rise in costs of everything due to covid, and can we expect prices to go back to "normal" in the coming months/years? If you are sitting in the ' whirlpool tub ' , it seems you can't look out to your horses etc as the window seems quite high! ( Obviously I am just guessing because it just looks like your are sitting quite low in the tub !) Although we have built homes in California, we have come to find that too many projects were interrupted by tedious red tape from both a local and state level. This has resulted in such long delays that we have found projects never broke ground - even though we did all of the engineering and materials selections. With that in mind, we have decided that it's not in our best interest to work on California projects when we have other families on our waiting list.
