The Toyota Venza is a true 5-passenger crossover vehicle, combining the best of a car with the utility of an SUV. I have 2013 LE V6... Love it... Now it is over 100,000 miles.... Very good for a long field trip... Enjoy from FL to NY and back (8 times now)... Reliability is exception, only regular oil changes, 1 set of new tires , 1 battery change, 1 set of front & back brake changes... And it keeps running... I keep it until it dies...

We love ours, it's a very under rated vehicle. It has tons of rear leg room and it's quite wide as well. Anytime we put someone in the back they almost always comment how roomy it is in the back seat. The AWD system is unstoppable in the snow, especially with winter tires. The V6 is surprisingly fast for a pretty large vehicle.

Just bought a used one this Summer and am loving the extra space without the bulk and "heft" of a full SUV or van! It was a step up for us from being past owners of 2 Toyota Camrys (which we also loved.......but we needed a little more space than a sedan, but not a huge SUV........the Venza has perfectly fit the bill for our small family). The Rav4 was just too small, Camry and Avalons still not spacious enough, and the Highlanders too much both in size and price. The Venza was the winner for us!

🔵 After having owned four Camry XLE's since the 80s ( LOVED them ), I now own a 2015 Venza XLE for two years and would like to speak to you about yours and some of the characteristics I find objectionable about mine. As I am unable to find very many others who own this unique vehicle the chances are quite rare for my being able to get feedback from another owner. Now that you've had yours for several years (IF you still have it....) I would relish the opportunity to discuss what you may have experienced and perhaps done to overcome these problems in YOUR Venza,..... Would that be Okay with you?

I just got my 2011 venza 2 weeks ago and loving every drive in it. 3.5L V6 engine. AWD with a 6 speed auto transmission that shifts strong. Tires are new, brakes are great, engine purrs, has 92,000 miles on it. Past owner must of kept it well maintained and non smoking interior.

I leased a Venza for 3 years (2014 model), it was a great car, great leg room, I loved taking it on long road trips with friends and family - New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Atlantic City, Washington DC. I was very disappointed to learn Toyota discontinued it as I wanted to lease the 2017 model for another 3 years. I now drive the Rav4, it's a good car, but I'll miss my Venza forever.

Sadly, 2016 was actually the last year the Venza was available here in Canada (until the second-gen reintroduction in 2021). In the US, 2015 was the last year Venzas were available. Canadians liked it so much, they gave us an extra year! :)

Sexy and sleek vehicle. I loved my 2012 XLE, had it for almost 5 years. No problems at all with it. Only thing is they need to put the rear view mirror a little further up..because it restricts the visibility through the windshield. But ,i loved it.

Thanks for another great review. I just have one suggestion, I've been watching your videos for a while now and they seem to be getting shorter and shorter. I know google had previously suggested limiting them to something like 5 or 6 minutes but for car reviews I feel in order to make that possible you have to skip over a lot of points about the vehicle. I end up having to watch other reviewers to get a more complete review. I could be the odd man out but you do such a great job, I feel like you should go back to your 12 and up minute reviews.

+soupnazi81 given the demographic of this car those things aren't quite as important as the features. Having owned a V6 AWD Venza since Aug 2010 I can tell you that the steering is vague and the transmission/power delivery feels quite dated.

Very happy with my Venza, way better looking than the outback, don't need the 3 rows of the Highlander, noticed you can't flip the seats with the rear handles like the Venza in the Highlander... Hope they make a new one to replace it in 2018 or so. Hard to compete with its rear leg room and cargo capacity. Most vehicles that can compete are three row SUVs like the Highlander, Pilot, Pathfinder, etc and most are a lot longer than the Venza to meet or match the specs.

@Eatmykellogs
@Eatmykellogs 9 жыл бұрын
+scorpionbeware Sadly, diesels are not popular in the North American markets. It would probably be a better option for most peoples needs, but not many people buy them, so manufacturers don't offer them.
@JustinCChan
@JustinCChan 9 жыл бұрын
+Garzanberg You say that but bluetec makes up the majority of Mercedes SUV sales now. I think it's the same line of thinking that claims North Americans don't like hatchbacks/wagons which is why we still don't have a Civic hatchback/wagon here... despite how well Honda's own Fit does as well as the hatchback variants of other small cars (Golf, Mazda 3, Focus, etc.)

Am I the only one that finds it hilarious that Toyota names their biggest and most wasteful vehicles after rare and endangered trees -- such as "redwood" and "sequoia"?? Nothing against Toyota specifically, but it's ironic and ballsy to name a car after rare ecosystems which the same car helps to pollute and destroy.
