People tried to say it was Luka because they saw a video of Steph and Luka working out together, but what they didn’t realize is that video was from the summer before Luka’s rookie season, he hadn’t even played an NBA game yet. Whereas the story of the player that threw up working out with Steph was more recent than summer of 2018.

Oh no.. the fact that he says "Steph can score more points than me, but I'd rather get everybody involved" just shows he doesn't understand Steph's game. Steph Curry is a Top 5 TEAM offensive facilitator of all-time. Counting assists isn't gonna tell you that... but if you actually understand Steph's game it's obvious. And honestly.. what's even the point of taking 35-foot 3's, if you don't understand how to use that to "get everybody involved"? Fuck an assist.. Steph's combination of range, offball movement, and willingness to let other players have the ball and do real things with it make him a MUCH better facilitator than Trae.

To be fair the Warriors surrounded Curry with complimentary pieces like Klay and Draymond to garnish Curry’s success. Atlanta has never been elite at drafting or signing talent. Dejounte Murray was a great player but it’s not like Steph ever had to play next to another ball dominant guard (because that’s not what either Trae/Steph needed). Trae made a Conference Finals with JOHN COLLINS as the second best player. If the Hawks could actually be a more competent front office maybe Trae would have more success.

@@FloydWhoElseTV trey is tiny. Steph is a true 6ft 3...Steph shoots off the dribble more efficiently and rebounds better. Trey holds the ball far longer. Steph primarily plays off the ball. The only thing they do that's similar is attempt 3s that's about it...Steph is a different player. He's more like IT than Steph. That's like saying dame and Steph are similar. They are not. They are both shooters with different styles.

@@joshuafoster7931 trae young is a traditional point guard. He's been averaging 9 assist since his senior year of high school. Steph isn't a traditional point guard because of Draymond's playmaking ability. You know you can have similarities in some categories and not be exactly like the player. You know that right? Ya think similarities means exactly the same , which it doesn't .

curry couldn’t carry anything without dray or some form of help and injury luck, he ain’t make jack shit and is 0-12 on go ahead shots, bro ain’t even the “point” and playmaker of GSW, and bro doesn’t even do lob passes anywhere near trae. trae has been averaging like 28/10 or sum with basically no help. so i don’t know what yall are laughing about cuz clearly yall ain’t know ball
