Good work Jason, yes it’s more for general work capacity due to the demographic Im focusing on. Yes the conditioning is supposed to read Alactic capacity or (Alactic speed endurance) on the EMOM not power that’s on me for not making the correction. Appreciate the review man keep it up!

Jason and Phil, you guys should consider doing a collaboration together. Maybe a 2-3 part series? That would be 🔥

I did this program. It's awesome. And then I rewrote it and did it again. Still awesome. Then I took bits and pieces of it and used that with clients and self. These are unique movements. The format isn't special but the movements he uses are really cool. Because he has the videos to follow along with, you could do this as a beginner but it's not a beginner program - for training or kettlebell beginners. Note: It takes about an hour to complete each session and an assortment of kettlebells will benefit you greater than only having one. You would do well with a light, medium, and heavy - respective to your strength. I used a 20, 40, and 62 pounder. Some moves are best with a light weight, like the half kneeling chop and lift and some are best with a heavy weight like the 10 x 10 finishers. And some are best with a medium weight that you would work with regularly.

Great review! If you ever come out with a program for grapplers (especially masters age) that I would totally buy! I do BJJ and am always trying to get the best programming possible.

He created one called Combat Kettlebell and it's been great so far. I'm on week 2 so far and noticed my gas tank has improved already

I don't know if Phil has complete programs specific to grappling, but I know he has a lot of videos focused on grappling strength and conditioning

Great review man! The fact Phil Daru showed such humility in his response shows how great of a trainer/person he is. Have you ever done a review on Adriell Mayes’ kettlebell workout? If not, it would be greatly appreciated.

Agree, Phil is one of the real ones! I'm friends with Adriell and love his stuff! We'll have to check it out!

Also thinking about purchasing the Combat KB program. I do like when you said about incorporating the different exercises, say 100 lbs DB farmers carry, keg carry, keg clean and pres, one legged squats, etc. Looking at starting a KB program very soon at 52 y/o. Started on KB program last summer, and kind of got away from me. It was a KZbin video different swings etc.. became monotonous.

His critique about the conditioning is kind of weird because he says instead I would recommend doing an assault bike, or sled work, BUT it's a kettlebell routine, lol. I think part of the idea is that you can do this at home with just a few kettlebells

So, considering the conditioning part of first 2 days of the week, can I train “Alactc capacity” or “alactic speed endurance” doing 10 min EMOM for 6 seconds all out sprints instead of 10 KB swings?

I did this review quite some time ago so I'm not entirely sure on the context. I would spread out higher threshold work by 48-72 hours. I'd also make sure there was enough aerobic work to support ATP-PC work. Lastly, which methods you prioritize depend on your limitations, goals, and experience.

The KZbin video I was using was from Milan Dotlic 30 min 500 Kcal K Fatloss workout Advanced and the 30 min KB fatloss video from him as well. I was also looking into Joe Daniel’s KBOMG - KB Only Muscle Gain Program 16 weeks and his Fat Loss Ladders - 13 KBOMG Kettlebell Workouts video.

Review: Diesel Treign by Reinhard Nel on train heroic. I think you’ll give his program an approval!

An honest review- it's overrated. I expected more to be honest. 3/5. There are some good exercises, but it's impossible to do it under 1.5 hours, and then it doesn't really build muscle, or cardio. It will get you slow and stiff, you can get a wrist and shoulder injuries with kettles. Nothing special

Thanks for put this review out. I have been thinking about purchasing this program from @PhilDaruStrong
