full body + upper + lower sounds like a good idea. Hits every muscle twice. At the moment I do full body 3x per week, about 45min every workout. Recently I skipped legs every 2nd workout, so it's like upper, full, upper, full etc. + 1 "hiit" day + 1 day of playing anything.
@BrianPruett2 ай бұрын
Love this 🫂 💪 yes I never wanna miss a week of building lower. If I had to do one type of workout a week, it would be legs

Great video! Do you do any stretching or just the jumper up to warm up?
@adamferrell2 ай бұрын
Amazing video bro! Definitely curious about your approach to training method. I’ve seen you say before you like to do a few sets of 10, 8, 6 with short rest periods. I like how efficient that sounds for sure. I’m used to resting 2-3 minutes between sets. Any reason you like to take short rest periods? Do you find that’s best for muscle growth and that your strength doesn’t suffer? Appreciate it bro 👊🏻

The trainings of days 2, 3, and 4 involve some of the same muscles. Not good. Did that in my 20s, it was great, I felt nothing, my body forgave me everything. But come 35, I was hit by shoulder tendonitis. The solution: take 48 hours break for each muscle. Flip day 1 and 2 for example.

Great video! Do you do any stretching or just the jumper up to warm up? Also, are you using the same dumbbell weight for every exercise or do you have a rack?
@BrianPruett2 ай бұрын
My man! I have a rack 💪 for example shoulder raises with 20lb and then chest flies with 50lb 👊 no stretching really, some here and there. Mostly at night before bed.

Are the dumbells not too light for you to use them for chest press? You seem to use the same weight for curls and chest press. No hate - just trying to understand your approach 🙏
@BrianPruett2 ай бұрын
I use 50s for chest flies / presses & do 45s ish or so for hammer curls / bicep curls 💪 You can get a NASTY chest pump through deficit push ups & chest flies using dumbbells only if the reps are slowed down & connected mentally 👊

Is this routine more efficient to build muscle than regular weightlifting workouts with 90 sec or 2 min rest between the sets? thanks
@BrianPruett12 күн бұрын
Hey brother 🤟 so if your goal is just simply muscle size and growth, the most efficient method of training would be to lift as heavy as possible rep ranges anywhere from failure to about 4 to 6 at most with a minute or three in between sets. This method of training is different in the sense that functionality is huge for me, while muscle is the goal but not at the expense of my long-term health or potential injuries 💪
@DJASOUL-xd2ud12 күн бұрын
@ thanks bro m’y goal is not just muscle growth I’m 51 years old , my goal is to be fit with a little muscle growth and I use Ladder App, the thing is I already did a lot of HIIT but I’m I’m bit bored 🤣
