One critique: They didn't move the All Spark to the Hoover Dam. They built the dam around it to hide it and didn't move it at all. They only brought Megatron there (he crashed in the Arctic while going to Earth to retrieve the cube). So the coordinates on the glasses were still for the All Spark's crash site (where the Hoover Dam was built)

The All-Spark reached Earth before Megatron did, and crashed at the future site of the Hoover Dam. Megatron crash-landed in the Arctic due to damage from his long journey to Earth, but he already had the coordinates to the All-Spark in Nevada. The Hoover Dam, according to this movie, was built over top of where the All-Spark crashed to hide it (the All-Spark in its normal form is huge).

I actually liked the Shia series. They were cheesy, campy, self-indulgent over the top popcorn movies and they worked perfectly with a CGI that still holds up today. I can rewatch them anytime and still get a good kick out of them. And this pitch meeting perfectly encapsulates all of that 😂
