Man, other people seem to have a lot of luck with these. I bought a $50 hardened steel driveshaft (rear) kit for the Slash 4x4. I ran it on 3s for the first time today, and literally within the first 15 seconds, the pin bent and came out. Literally, every driveshaft kit I buy comes with this problem. The same thing happens on my WLToys 124019 when I run it on 3s. I guess these are just not made for brushless systems. It's a bummer because I bought a 4x4 Ultimate for a reason.

@@RileyBanksWho yeah the retainer and pin coming out is a common issue on a lot of aftermarket driveshafts

I bought rcawd driveshaft for my 2wd slash and i was speed running on my street and wasn't going too hard and it wasn't moving no more and the wheels were spinning freely only lasted about 2 or 3 battery packs.

@@gamercat7004 that’s a bummer…they definitely should last longer than that

@RCKnockout I realized the pin was gone like the thin wire on the end might have opened up and lost the pin. It's not broken, good thing too. I ended up purchasing MIP driveshafts for my 2wd slash.
@RCKnockout18 күн бұрын
@@gamercat7004 yeah that’s usually what happens…the MiP driveshafts are definitely a good purchase though
@gamercat700418 күн бұрын
@RCKnockout yea, hopefully, and I'll try to insulate the shafts so the pins will not fall out
@RCKnockout17 күн бұрын
@@gamercat7004 yeah you almost have to do something to prevent the pins from falling out

MIP Has doubled in price in the last few years. They were affordable at one time

Yeah unfortunately the MIP driveshafts are just too expensive for most people…they’re good but that’s a huge investment

Hey quick question, I have a Slash 2wd drive and plan to do the monster slash upgrade. But for the wheels can I use those in the streets?
