Regarding Docs: friend of mine worked there and pointed out that you want to get one of the few pairs still produced in the UK. Most of their more recent experimental stuff is made in China, but some of their classic designs are caringly produced in England. Well, at least seven years ago.

They’re far more expensive. Can’t say if they’re worth it, I buy American made boots from Washington which are also fairly expensive.

Skin heads were born out of mod culture and was mostly to do with the fashion/Musik but then the looks sadly got taken over abit by the racist although these days if you see someone rocking the docs and Fred Perry and a Harrington or Ben Sherman jacket you can pretty confidently assume they belong to the leftist hipster group and not racist. Especially younger people in like their 20/30s

Pflax. If you're wearing a flannel button up with a hoodie, then put the flannel over the hoodie. you get to look like you're wearing a flannel with the warmth of a hoodie. I'd say it only works with pull over hoodies, not zip ups. It's pretty much my go to look when it gets too cold for just the flannel. I wouldn't try it with checkered button ups. most of those fit closer than a flannel shirt does, so there's less room for a hoodie underneath.

At least that my part of the US we pay a flat block of time whenever we park in big city areas. Usually it's depending on which shady company it is or just random company. For the events it can go anywhere between 10 bucks to 40 bucks and that's for 24 hours, one time I saw a 48 hour one for $25

Ironically, virtually all of Great Britain was once Welsh-speaking (Common Brittonic) - a good handful of major place names across Scotland are originally of Welsh/Brittonic origin, such as Glasgow (once the capital of the Kingdom of Strathclyde), Perth (Pictish word meaning thicket - the same word in modern Welsh means 'bush' or 'hedge'), Edinburgh (originally Din Eidyn, associated with the Kingdom of Goddodin) and Aberdeen (Aber- means river mouth in Welsh, hence places like Aberystwyth).

While it's good to hear them talking about Tryweryn, I can't help but feel they made light of the whole situation, much like they did with Aberfan a few weeks ago. Us Welsh are always going to be the butt of the joke for the English and that's never going to change. Maybe one day it'll be realised that it's just casual racism and nothing more. Queuing at pubs makes absolutely no sense, the whole design of the bar has worked for decades, after lockdown the whole understanding of how it works fell apart.
