I make this all the time I don’t always use exact measurements I use the guidance of the spirits lol and it still comes out good ❤

On waiting on mine to rise now! Made my own green seasoning from scratch and my tamarind chutney A a mango chutney last night...making the cucumber one now! Making doubles tommorrow! I'm having so much fun learning all these new foods and recipes. IM American but live in Miami we get all the carribbean goods and food here! Thank you for your recipe I'll let you know how it fries up! My doubles my whole family loves!!!!!😅❤

You can try but the outcome will be different.

I try this recipe but it didn't raise when I was frying. I stopped and add some baking powder. I didn't see it was included in the recipe.

if it didn't raise with the yeast then the yeast must have been old

Greetings from India ,Interesting recipe , what exactly is the green seasoning coriander and green chillies perhaps ? What seeds did you add to the Tamarind chutney ? I'm a bit intrigued !

Green seasoning is a mixture of culantro,garlic,scallions and peppers. I added tamarind seeds to the tamarind.

@@TriniCookingwithNatasha Thank you for the prompt response. What is the purpose of adding back tamarind seeds ? We normally remove seeds totally before using Tamarind .

@@gulshankwatra2841 I think it's a personal preference. Most Trinidadians like the feel of the seed in the midst of the sauce.
