Will Pavia, Times correspondent in New York, gives us a blow-by-blow account of Trump’s conviction in the courtroom, where a jury found him guilty of all 34 felony counts in his criminal hush money trial.

Im very much against d.trump winning the next election, though I'm also very much split on the democracy thing you mentioned. It is justice, no doubt about that, but it will be and probably has been spinned into the direction of a political trial, that only exists because the Democrats don't want trump to win, no matter what. And this is dangerous, because we've seen it on January 6. what happens when people are convinced their voice is maliciously silenced.

One of the better days in the news cycle, some good news to smile about. Hoping for a few months in jail after his appeals are denied. Without the fluke of his presidency, he would not have been indicted - it is his ego that brought him to this juncture in life. Thank you, New York citizens! American Justice works, Now the SCOTUS and Canon need to be repaired.

This was full of errors. He misdescribed the charge. You can't appeal before sentence. First I heard that judges imposed sentences because "most other sentences" weren't prison. What does he mean a "memo in the Justice dept" get out of jail free card???

Trump may finally be held accountable for once in his long life of bad behavior. The law should apply equally to everyone, regardless of their position in society. American patriots are tired of the rich and powerful escaping accountability. MAKE ACCOUNTABILITY GREAT AGAIN!
