Definitely one of the best tuck HS tutorials with drills on YT. My tuck HS is more like a tuck frog with knees farther out which I can hold for ~30+ seconds on a good day. Maybe I lack the compression or shoulder opening. Now, I’m too dependent on that frog tuck and revert to it rather than wobble on the true tuck position. Thank you for the video and your time and suggestions.

I love this! After starting with my arms over head and just trying to propel myself upside down to a hand stand for many years (and often going overhead), I've found this controlled technique a real breakthrough. If I start with one leg up as shown @ 2:30 mins and then kick the other up with the intention of tuck , I usually end up pushing both legs straight up to handstand! Success at last :) (although can't hold for long at this point)

Seems like a good training ! I will try ! Simple handstand with the legs straight is too hard for me, hopefully with time I can master this

I get that...straight legs is really complicated & hard. Tuck will teach you so much strength in your handstand. Good luck!!

@@kelsyogi Yes I can tell my shoulders don't have the necessary strength yet! Also I find this way more beautiful than the "gymnastic handstand" ^^ I'll keep trying thanks

Are your hips in an anterior or posterior tilt in that tuck hold on the wall?

Posterior. Anterior just makes more of a hollowback shape.
