I heard jimmy doofus Dore once in2016 and knew he was a moron and a grifter who hated dems but who almost always gave Trump and the GOP a pass. Pretty much the same with tulsi gabbard, Glenn Greenwald, and Matt Taibbi. Then you have those who hate the GOP but hate Corp Dems more; people like Krystal ball and kyle kulinsky. Here is my suggestion; leave the Dems and start your own socialist party. You want the dems to lose unless they are all clones of the squad and that will never happen. “Trump policy of energy independence” The US never really was energy independent. It’s imported oil every year for decades. OPEC was also the reason the price dropped; releasing more oil to market to drop the price and make fracking less profitable.

If you do like 5 minutes of research past the propaganda she gargled out early in the primaries it becomes pretty obvious that her history is really odd and that something wasn't right about her. I don't mean for the above to come off douchey lol my bad if it does, it's just that you actually can pretty easily read a politician if you do actual research on them -- I didn't figure this out myself until maybe a year ago. I caught on to Tulsa earlier than most but she was still my second pick after Bernie for longer than I'd care to admit. Her positions on India and past stanced on gay people and connections to a wacky, extremist religious group from Hawaii were easy red flags. She followed her dad into politics and obviously intended to follow in his footsteps -- knowing his public views and realizing she probably agrees with him on most of it was also a red flag. And also the fact that my furthest right friends also really liked her -- they knew more about her than I did at the time and I didn't realize how much of a red flag it was. I guess we're all just figuring out how not to be naive these days about politics

There are a lot of people who pretend to be left wing/progressive to get the interest of those fed up with the status quo. You could say they are contrarians rather than left-wing. Their main tells that I can think of is that they refuse incremental progress on principle and that they focus on 'us vs them' situations where you need to be completely on board with their positions. @danieldaw1778
@danieldaw1778 2 жыл бұрын
@@onomatopoeia162003 No, it's inflation. There are two types of inflation directly linked towards the supply chain. Cost push inflation occurs when there's an decrease in the aggregate supply due to rising cost of production. This causes prices to rise. Demand pull inflation occurs when aggregate demand increases but supply stays the same, which also causes prices to rise. We're in a situation where cost push inflation is causing demand pull inflation. Supply is decreased from optimal levels because of exterior forces (covid), which leads to supply shortages. However, these shortages, and general sentiment towards wanting things to return to normal given we've been dealing with covid for damn near 2 years has driven demand up as well. So demand being up and supply being down drives up the cost of a lot of things and inflation occurs.

I disagree with Vaush that the US could lead the world in the green energy transition. It's not that the US wouldn't be able to do it if no one else was, it's just that Europe is already doing it. The US is can't possibly catch up, they're 25-30 years behind. At this point, the US would be better off spending money on European green energy products, as it would cost WAY less money and time to do it that way. There is no point in making unnecessary jobs just to have more jobs - focus on implementation and maintenance teams instead, and reap the rewards of green energy. At nearly 40% Europe's green energy already produces more electricity than either fossil fuels (~35%) or nuclear (~25%, which is already in decline as well) - the US can get there too, but don't spend time reinventing the wheel.

@@PlatinumAltaria Not true, according to the US's own estimation, the CIA Factbook, Europe has an estimated GDP PPP of 27.27 trillion while the US sits at 19.85 trillion. But that's not the point. The reason the US can't do what Vaush is saying they should is because Europe is already doing it. Plus culturally, the US is by far the most anti-environmental country in the world. There are many people in the US, including their government, that hate the environment with supervillain-like fervour.
