providing healthcare to NON-Americans is not helping Americans. the left have become so radical with their "care for all" doctrine that they have lost complete touch with reality and have STOPPED caring about fairness, justice, sanctity(in particular sanctity of AMERICAN values and AMERICAN law) This is why Conservatives (despite virtue signalling less) actually have the moral high ground. Conservatives also have compassion but not at the expense of fairness, justice and sanctity! Its easy to stand on a platform and declare "FREE STUFF!.........FREE STUFF FOR ALL!........and anyone not for FREE STUFF is not compassionate". But the reality is nothing is free......someone always PAYS the bill. This is why the Democrats are completely and utterly BANKRUPT in terms of ideas and policies............all they can focus on now is "social issues" and paint their opponents as "racist" or "sexist" or "homophobic" (even when they are none of the above). Democrats are completely and utterly EVIL to the core and will resort to slander (calling anyone who opposes them, bigoted, racist, intolerant..etc) to cover for their own flaws as BANKRUPT politicians.

@Jake. No, I took that pivot as his defensive response and semi-correction to his initial claims - not really nuance. 'Nuance' is not to be ignored in complex topics. That is something I fully agree with you on sir. Many topics cannot be boiled down to a simple binary good/bad position - What Tim Ryan's statements indicated wasn't Nuance to me. As I said, it read to me as a lazy bit of revisionism.

She used to be hailed as the future of the dems by the dnc, pelosi, and many others before she ticked them off by not letting herself become a puppet. She just a normal person whose beliefs cannot be put in one box. shes done many things i disagree with like voting on a bill to make it harder for refugees to come in the us which contradicts her diplomatic narrative (she seems a bit islamophobic maybe because shes hindu?) but the variance and lack of any plotted pattern by which she chooses her stances makes her way more authentic than anyone else and less likely to backtrack on her beliefs if she becomes pres, while others will say what will attract votes then become a puppet of their sponsors.

I'm watching from Australia, so no horse in this race......but she said twice in this interview that the goal was to beat Trump. That's not how you win anything. At this point her goal, following her strategy, should be to beat the other other people up to be primaried. At 1% of the polls she has no hope... though it's early days. Ask any Olympic champion of their motivation. It's not to beat the best, it's to be the best. There is a marked difference there. The alternative suggests complacency in that the goal is to beat Trump, not be the best, thus beating him. You don't win by taking down someone else.

Jillylove 101 Sounds like a strong argument for just keeping Trump in the White House. The left can hate him all they want, doesn’t change the fact that he has been a strong leader and is doing a great job for our country. I am a Republican and even I can admit that it made sense to keep Bill Clinton in the White House for another term following the Lewinsky scandal because our economy was very strong when he was president and it made no sense to replace him. The same is true right now with Trump.

Raoul Fleckman So you’re a well trained CNN viewer. Congratulations! Hate to burst your narrative bubble, but there was no collusion with Russia. That was a left wing, Trump derangement fueled fairy tale from day 1. A silly and expensive 2 & 1/2 year witch hunt that produced exactly zero evidence of collusion with Russia. Meanwhile the economy is BOOMING, not just for the rich...for all Americans. There are JOBS...for anybody who wants to work. Have you looked at the unemployment statistics? Black unemployment is at record lows. The same is true for Hispanics. Not bad for a guy who is supposedly a racist. If Trump is so awful and Obama was so wonderful...why didn’t this stuff happen during the 8 years he was President? You say Trump has committed “real crimes” eh? OK...tell me one specific crime he has committed and give me the evidence to back up the allegation. If you can’t do that, then you’re just regurgitating some vague, unsubstantiated nonsense you heard from the Trump hating media or from some liberal idiot panelist on Bill Maher’s show. Keep believing everything the left wing BS machine tells you about Trump.
