@@subcon959 It really isn't that simple. Sega probably anticipates more sales and can afford to split more of the profits. As Bithead1000 also pointed out, the controllers are totally unsuited for it. Then, there is the fact that far fewer people grew up with this version and the technical aspects don't matter as much when you can now buy the arcade version at Wal-Mart... along with stuff like Hyper Street Fighter II HD Turbo. They could be risking all their profit on a deal with Capcom for a game few care about as much as Bithead here.

@@emmettturner9452 I agree with most of your points and that it doesn't seem to be worth it to Capcom to make such a deal - especially when they are releasing their own console soon. But I think it would've been a smart move for Konami to at least try (maybe they did) purely because it's more of a niche system and having one of the best known games in history could've actually sold more consoles than otherwise. The controller issue is a bid deal though.

@@subcon959 Hori did make a Fighting Commander for the SNES Classic Edition but they aren't even planning on selling the different regional controller variants for the PCE/TG16 Mini. I'm guessing they didn't want to get stuck with multiple kind of unsold controllers if one or two versions proved significantly less popular. Might've even been prompted by the Fighting Commander selling poorly for the SNES CE. There was a PCE Fighting Commander and I'd love to see them do a replica for this but it seems they learned from poor SNES CE controller sales and decided against it. :( Thing is, SNES CE included 2 controllers and the fighting games didn't need an alternate controller like they would on PCE/TG16 Mini. Maybe things would be different if Konami managed to get SFII'CE.

Lost Sunheart, Forgotten Worlds (superior to the Mega Drive version in every single way), Gokuraku Chucka Taisen, Macross 2036, Terra Cresta II, Zero Wing or W-Ring-The Double Rings would be nice additions also. PS: Really give the first Choaniki (NOT Ai Choaniki) a proper try - its a great Shoot'em up with an awesome weird soundtrack.

Great that you put Gate of Thunder as Hashtag on that video, missing out on that game really hurts. At this point I would be already satisfied when they just add this game as a surprise and done. Still, this is the only mini console I was ever really excited about. I already played by far the most of those NES, SNES + Genesis mini games back in their heydays, I even got my hands on quite a bunch of NeoGeo games back in the Ninetees in the arcade. Yet, I never owned a PC Engine. I really hope Konami gets it right, as I want a great mini right out of the box which does not immediately scream "mod me!"

@@jayt2917 I beat it before and you can look up walk-through guides on the internet to help you if you get stuck. But, you're right in a sense... Some of the best elements of an action RPG are the story, and all the puzzles you have to solve and clues you have to use in order to progress in the game. This would be mostly sacrificed without an English translation. No one wants to play guessing games. If only they could have added the translated version that was done by some fans. They did a great job. That game has phenomenal music too! A lot of it is just as good as Ys book I & II!
