a more accurate v2 would have 400 hp in act one, and 800 in act two, since v1 has 10 hp plus a decimal point shown on the bar, while v2 has 40 in act 1 and 80 in act two. similarly, in act one, you would just have the piercer revolver, core eject shotgun, and knuckleblaster, with the marksman revolver, overheat nailgun and whiplash being added in act 2.

the reason V2 has 40 HP is because that's his HP in game for some reason. Tbh i think the way it should work is V2 having 200 - 300 HP and you can only heal *after* encounters end by collecting the blood on the floors manually, as it's stated that other machines use a seperate refueling process.

if V2 health were to be scaled to player hp, it would be 400. which idk if they can change it beyond 100 the way to calculate this is quite simple: enemies hp are 10 time less than what they should be and when damage are applied to other enemy theyre divided by 10 (excluding virtue beams for whatever reason)

this is asking for a lot and probably will never happen, but I think the perfect V2 mod would include - Model Reskin - More health & durability, but not being able to heal. Maybe you can refuel when out of combat? - Custom levels / campaign that eventually crosses paths with V1 twice - Custom V1 boss (fights) - Custom guns and new arsenal that includes what we see V2 use in game - Some form of "scrap collecting" thing after the first encounter with V1 to build the green arm

idea: what if there was a whole V2 campaign where you had lore-accurate weapons, went different paths from V1 and could get the feedbacker if you managed to beat V1 in 1-4 and could actually beat V1 in 3-4 too but the campaign ends at that you'd have to go faster than V1 and not beat Gabriel and thus probably wouldn't go to Gluttony but only IF you lost in 1-4 (you'd go the same route as V1 if you actually won in 1-4 but V1 would still get all the weapons) it would be a big ass mod tho so this is really just a pipe dream
