A panel quilt can be more than a quilt - it can be a work of art. Today's panels feature beautiful images. Not only that, a panel quilt can be quickly put together when life gets in the way. For some reason panel quilts are a bit taboo in the quilting community, but I want to change that. So if you've never made a panel quilt, at least give it a try. Who knows - you might like it.

Agreed. A black skinny border or 2 in there would have separated the visual chaos. Also would love to see how you choose to quilt it on the longarm!

The panel is a wild design--exploding hearts and colors. The borders are fitting for the panel. The inner border brings an art op vibe. For that reason I think no black borders as some suggested.

Like your heart panel; hadn’t seen that one before. I like working with panels. Have a box full of them. However, that particular border is a little too busy for me. Have tried offsetting strips before but couldn’t get them to offset evenly so scrapped the idea. As always, thank you for taking the time to make a video for us.

I love panels they can inspire many different things. That more like sunglasses quilt..so bright and happy! Admittedly softer color range are more me and give me the feels I need. There is a big bargello /rainbow/ blasts of color / neon phase going on now so you are so instep!

Good day lovely lady. For me I think the booboo is on the left side right beside the first border. That strip looks like it is not even with other strips in the design. Not sure. You need to show us or take us along when you are using the long arm I think it would fun to watch and see how the quilt turns out with the thread design that you chose.
