On December 30th I finished this program. I spread the videos over an 11 month period. I think I skipped about 5 videos because after trying them twice my body wouldn't let me complete them. I lost before pics somehow so I have no comparison but I have moved from using 5 lb weights to using 8, 10 and 12 lb weights. I have a permanent lower back injury and bad knees but I don't let that stop me. I completed 35 out of 40 videos and I'm proud of myself. I'm doing the strong summer program starting tomorrow Jan 2, 2023.

I love love this workout even though I almost died especially during circuit 4. I had forgotten all about the Nordic Curl 🔥. I was like Clélia you are almost done after this repeat but no 😅😅😅 burnout. The pulses 🥵🌶. Happy to be done ✅ Now it’s stretching time. Once again thank you Vera 🙏🏾😘

I would say ALTA is a bit easier to follow since I’m including warmups directly in each workout, there is no advertising, and there’s an added mobility focus which I think we are all really enjoying. I hope you can join ALTA if you’re able to - but strong summer is awesome too!!!

VERA! I started your program when you were already halfway through and just jumped into the video you had posted that day, trying to keep up as much as I could. I gained so much weight in the past year during the pandemic and due to recent medication and was looking for a program that would make me feel me better about myself. You did not disappoint! Although I don't see a physical difference, I feel sooo much stronger! My fiance squeezed my arm and was impressed lol. Thank you for putting together these workouts for us.

This 8 week program is just what I needed to help me work on my discipline to committing to getting fit. This past year I had a lot of obstacles that interrupted my weight loss journey and I was struggling with getting back into it. A few months ago my whole family got covid and that also affected me physically and mentally. This program has definitely helped me. My arms and legs have started to lean out and definitely feeling stronger. I look forward to the next chapter of this weight loss journey. My next goal is to work on my discipline with the choices I make with my eating habits and hoping to reduce my mommy pouch. I had a c-section 2 years ago and that’s definitely my trouble zone. 😬 Thank you so much Vera for taking the time to put all these exercises together what you do really makes a difference. ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much for your support, Angie! Im so glad that you stuck with the program despite all the obstacles!! Sounds like you’re making fantastic progress already. You can do this! Small changes can make a huge difference towards your goals - sometimes it’s opting for a bit of extra protein or veggies instead of extra carb in a meal - for me it’s all about balance. I love to enjoy all the foods, so I try not to restrict anything - I just try to be mindful of portion sizes and try to get extra protein whenever I can. I hope this helps & can’t wait to continue working out together 💪💪

Wooohooo I did it! So Vera, I'm 59 yrs old, did all the push ups on my knees, modified some of the moves b/c they were too hard, but I felt great after each workout. What would you recommend that I do next. I don't need anything too taxing. I've cut back on cardio b/c I've developed plantar fasciitis in both feet & arthritis in 1 knee.

If you’re on Facebook, I hope you join our Private group for a bit of extra support!! For push ups, if you feel ready, I always recommend walk push ups, and then push ups on a high incline like a counter and then a chair or bench. You got this 🥰🥰🥰
