Advice on advice for Captain Falcon and Kurtis: social situations can be hella tough. I have social anxiety and have a hard time with going out and meeting new people, but! I've found that setting small, doable goals for myself going into these situations can help a lot with managing anxiety. Going into a social gathering where you don't know a lot of people with the intention may prove to be a little too much, but going in with something small like "I'm going to go and talk to one person" is a hell of a lot more achievable vs. "I'm going to go and make a friend!" It's all about the baby steps. Talk, find something in common with that person, and hopefully friendship will bloom from this interaction! Good luck, Captain Falcon! You got this!
