Go Rest High on That Mountain might be one. It’s interesting to me that you’re planning the music for your funeral because I’ve done that too. Well actually I’ve thought about how I would want to the environment during my last days on earth. This happened after I worked at a hospice; I gained a great deal from that experience! So I know I want James Taylor playing but I’m not sure who else…the problem with me is that I have an incredibly wide appreciation for lots of different kinds of music so I don’t know if I’ll be able to choose.

Hi Alan... thanks for watching. You know I was wondering why I did that. It was our first induction concert. We inducted a lot of people and it cost thousands of dollars to rent the symphony hall plus stage and film crews so if I remember correctly we cut the last verse to save time. Looking back obvious I wish I had not cut the last verse. Thanks again for watching... Joe

Such a shame. The last verse in my opinion sends the song into immortality. I am always affected emotionally by the “I will ease your mind” line. It makes the song.

Vince has such a beautiful voice....he can take any song from any genre and breathe exciting, new life into it. He is a true talent. This video would have been better if the piano player wasn't playing so loud and forcefully .... like he was accompanying a marching band! The loud piano drowned Vince's voice out somewhat and that is just wrong! The song is a calming, sweet and gentle one....the piano simply contradicted the message, the meaning, the moment, and of course, the singer.
