Cream of Rice can be pricey here in the USA. Typically oatmeal is around 2$ for a fairly large container...while cream of rice is 5$ or more for a smaller box.

Wesley, een tip. De rijstvlokken die jij gebruikt zijn tamelijk duur (3 euro voor 500 gram) Bij denotenshop.nl koop je 500 gram voor 1,25... en 20 kilo voor 39,95.

Im in the U.S. but I've never seen Cream of Rice at the few places I get grocery from (Walmart, Food Lion). I only see Cream of Wheat. I wonder if some other grocery chains like Trader Joe's or Whole Foods has it (probably) , but the closest one is about an hour drive from me. Amazon sells it, but mainly in bulk. Always wanted to try Cream of Rice, maybe one day...
@Lordell
@Lordell 4 жыл бұрын

What happened?
@elviswest7972
@elviswest7972 4 жыл бұрын
The oatmeal was causing bloating. The cream of wheat digests much easier and along with the psyllium husk fiber it allows you to maintain a flatter stomach and you are hungry by the time your next meal is scheduled.

Substitute with the cream of wheat. You will notice the difference immediately. I eat mine with 1 tbsp psyllium husk 1 scoop protein powder, 15 grams of almonds and 50 grams of blueberries. Give it a shot.

Such a hastle for breakfast. I just put a banana, oatmeal, natural peanut butter, cinnamon, protein powder and water into a magic bullet blender and drink it. Tastes amazing and whole process takes a few minutes. None of this mixing, microwave for ten minutes, mix again, microwave again killing the nutrients.

@Abusive Grandfather Vintage Genetics is taking a rest/off day, which we all need to grow, but what I'm saying is if you cut your carbs/calories on your off day than the following day you return to the gym you have less calories to work on.

Black Shark knight not very important as long as the morning/day/day’s before you are eating quality foods. Most foods outside of simple sugars take time to digest so eating them right before training isn’t essential.

Wesley you talk about fruit being rich in vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients. Firstly, what are phytonutrients? (Don't quote dr Greger on that) Then you proceed to talk about your supplements.. seems a bit contradictory to me. Secondly, what kind of vitamins are there in fruit other than vitamin c? Also would like to hear your opinion on Stan Efferding's vertical diet for bodybuilding.
@Lagoonyoutube
@Lagoonyoutube 4 жыл бұрын
Well phytonutrients are usually made from plants to protect them from oxidative stress. Otherwise they would not survive for long. These phytonutrients are in the health area generally regarded as antioxidants for human health. Examples of antioxidants are lypocene in tomatoes, sesamol in sesame seeds, sulforaphane in cruscifirous vegetables etc. As for your fruit question - examples of other vitamins in fruit are vitamin k in berries, vitamin a in mangos. Just as an anectode for your last question. I followed Stan efferding’s diet and I tracked my blood pressure meanwhile. It went from 120/80 to 150/90. Quite a dramatic increase if you ask me. Also the eating plan is plain af and Stan Efferding does not have proper knowledge in nutrition listening to him speak about food. I would not follow a guy’s advice who looks like he is going to get a stroke at any moment
