Nathan Stanley it really is. I remember hiding my love for this band because of the things people would say to me in high school. I’d wear one of their shirts or bracelets and I was an open target. He deserves the credit he’s getting and I’m happy that he’s getting it. I also know he’s the kind of artist to remember his beginning and appreciate the fans that have been there through it all. I just hate seeing the people who made fun of me for listening to his music now posting it all over their stories and shit. Ronnie is an artist. He writes his own songs so lyrically they always have a deep meaning. Especially since he has battled with drug addiction, prison, betrayals and much more. The song "The Drug In Me Is You" is one of their most popular songs. It is upbeat and sounds fun, however if you dive into the lyrics he is singing about repeatedly destroying his life and being unable to stop it. (in my opinion.) This is a remake of that song. The lyrics are the same but its delivered in a different method which makes the emotions of the song feel different. The "Elsa" woman is actually the cover of their first album, so i believe the song and the burning of Elsa is suppose to represent letting go of the past and moving on.

The Reimagined version of the original song was a thank you gift for longtime fans! Also.. I feel like the lyrics could definitely be about any bad addiction (food, bad relationship etc) but knowing Ronnie's past I assume the drug he was talking about was literally a drug and Elsa was just a nice touch to bring the addiction to life, so the end of the video was symbolically burning the bridge and letting go of it... he's made it, better off without it..?

Music goes in ~20 year cycles. The emo punk scene phase kids are entering their late 20s and early 30s, resurrecting what we listened to via our children who then drive the popularity by way of internet. It's all an interesting science.

I felt every ounce of pain he put into this masterpiece. I'm a very emotional person when it comes to music and this song gave me chills, and made me cry. Was my first time hearing this version. I was so lost in this I forgot I was watching a video... I have been waiting for you to react to one of his songs.. this was the perfect one. Keep it up!!! His song "Losing My Life" shows how vocally diverse he really is. You should do that song. Til next time ✌
What I love about Ronnie is that he had a messed up earlier life and was making bad choices. He owned it - he took back his life and let the decent and talented man really step up. I adore the recent stuff because it has layers and soul and passion and his voice is just better. And yes, this gives me goosebumps too.

Your reaction on this song has been one of my favorites so far, of all the different people I've seen react to it. They released this video Thursday morning, and my wife and I watched it with our jaws on the floor, and then listened to about 50 times before we saw him perform it live last night! He sang it just as well live. It was incredible. Thanks for making me smile the whole time watching your video :)
