Chris, you helped me to change the course of my sickness with covid a couple years ago. It was going almost two months. I was down on myself and starting to give up. Then I saw your show in which you were sharing your struggle with it. You insisted that we put our arms up and breathe! So I did just that! I went from crawling to walking that same day. It's crazy because I'm a nurse who has always been into exercise, running, and health. Yet I couldn't pep talk myself into doing something hard to get better in the moment. I was more focused on the illness and my weakness. Thank you, Chris, for helping me turn it around that day. You will forever have a place in my heart. This walk and talk thing you're doing is great!

I love this podcast, I am a 71 year old woman who has kinda gave up, I am diabetic and really abuse it. This podcast has me thinking real hard on everything I do and as you said I have to do the hard things first to get where I should be. Thanks Chris I have been a fan since GMA and followed you to CNN. I will be watching you on the new channel to. Love you and hope we all can do the hard things first.❤❤❤P.S I ain’t taking no cold showers!😂😂😅🎃

Chris- I am in my 50’s. I am an Italian American. I read Ryan Holiday. I walk every day. I drink too much. I eat too much. I am a “Learn it All”. Every damn thing you said is as if you are talking directly to me. As you continue to share- thoughts on positivity, strength, patience and any other authors or thinkers that resonate with you. Talk about your family and how we can have better relationships. Keep on keeping on.

We saw how you can beat the odds before, when you came on Cuomo Prime Time all looked red in your fight with Covid. You are not only one of the most gifted journalists of our time but you know how to put life above every patty thing of life. Achievement, name, fame, the wealth all feel good but a healthy family itself is more important to have than anything, and you have that and your strength to put that above all deserves our admiration. Thank you for the video, for showing us that striving to be alive to enjoy our family and ignoring ego ( Etch God Out) is the wisest thing of life.

The podcasts are excellent, always with substance & meaning. I never miss a show. These walk & talk videos are a tremendous help for everyone. The couch videos, same thing... very helpful. Most people in today's society think they know everything about everything & everyone with their their assumptions or speculations. Does not do any good for anyone. Very destructive. But, when you do these types of videos, they motivate & should make people realize what it's all about. Yes, make it easy on yourself, change... always a great thing! It's very rare to see videos like this. It's honest & straightforward... something you do not see too often today in human society. These videos are entertaining & teach what's right & what's wrong & we should all learn from them & repeat watch as many times as we want or need. Again, thank you for your podcasts & thank you for being back on the air on News Nation. Wishing you continued success always. Andrew's new podcast is terrific!!! Looking forward to watching & listening every week. Great title, too. Take care Chris. Keep up the fantastic work. All of your true fans are ecstatic that you're back!! It was well worth that long, difficult wait. Thank you for all that you do!

My cancer journey 10 years ago was definitely starting with the hardest thing first, which was 16 rounds of chemotherapy to shrink my aggressive tumor in my left breast and lymph nodes. I didn't want to do the chemo first, but once I went through it, I felt so empowered by my determination and strength to face my battle head on. The surgery followed, which was rough as well. But then when I got to the last phase of treatment, which was radiation, it was such a relief to have won my fight against that evil monster of a disease. I did the hardest thing first. I didn't quit on myself. I couldn't quit because I had to save my life!!! The result: I'm a 10 year cancer survivor. I still suffer through lingering pain at my surgery site, constant fatigue, and brain fog, all aftereffects of the strong chemo. But I am alive because I didn't quit. My battle with depression and anxiety has been the same. The hardest thing was to admit that I had a serious problem, and that I had to do something before it consumed me. I was crying all of the time. Sleeping too much. Wishing to be dead some days. I was prescribed an antidepressant back in May, but it sat untouched for almost 4 months because I was afraid to try it. In early September, an evaluation from my counselor diagnosed me as having clinical depression. That was it, enough was enough. I started the antidepressant that very next day. I am almost 2 months in on the medication, and all I can say is, wow, Chris!!! What a difference it is making. I smile more now. I get out of bed early and go for walks EVERY day. I'm beginning to finally feel worthy and loved for the first time in a very long time. I have had bumps and bruises along the way, but I will keep going. I will not give up on myself. I promise, Chris. Thank you for being an inspiration in my life ❤💛💖

Thank you for sharing this segment! I liked your prime time show on CNN but I appreciate more what you are doing now. We are all flawed human beings and often the challenge is the actual goal and reward. I have lived through many difficult and dangerous situations but what got me through them was knowing that I was working to help others who needed the food, medicine or vaccines to literally live or have essentials to build a better next day. I applaud your efforts to search for truths as one can know them. Keep up the struggle. All the best!

You have given me strength, courage, wisdom for and a sense of well being. Love seeing people like yourself exposing your inner well being in the hopes of helping others with whatever struggles a person might be going through. When I first started watching you on CNN I thought where have you been all my life...lol. Too many guys wreck their shoulders, elbows and backs by using too heavy weights in their workout. I'm glad Chris mentioned slow negative. On any exercise you should use weight where the motion that you are lifting the weight takes 1/2 or 1/3 of the time that it takes to lower the weight back. I read years ago that the second part of the motion - lowering the weight back - does more to build the muscle. So if you do an arm curl and it takes 2 seconds to curl the weight up then it should take you between 4 to 6 seconds to lower the weight back down. this will force you to use lower weights which will be easier on your joints. Arnold Schwarzenegger in his prime was not using heavier weights than some of the other guys because he did stricter form than they did

As a Jamaican fan in Jamaica, I'd love to see you interview different nationals that make up the USA and their perspectives. Just like Jamaica we're "OUT OF MANY ONE PEOPLE". Keep up the good work. 👍

As a 33 year old who recently experienced a lot of loss after unexpected complications from a brain tumor removal surgery, I find you to be inspirational. I did not know who you were until I watched your interview with Kanye, then realizing your connection with your brother. I do not watch traditional tv nor did I follow politics until recently. I have enjoyed listening to these two episodes and have found inspiration in the things you have said. Thank you

That was one great Walk & TALK! Your wisdom is greatly appreciated, you way beyond your years! Enjoy your time greatly! KEEP IT UP!! I have typed w/ one eye since Thanksgiving '22. Had a Detached Retna, very long recovery! It was that you loose that eye! Never give into failure! Thanks a million !

i'm old and have let myself go, partly due to covid isolation. it's now difficult for me to get out and get back in shape bc i don't want to be out in public in my condition. so i am talking to contractors to help me turn my basement into a big room for walking and eventually roller skating. i'm lucky that i have the money to do this. i think communities should put some emphasis on helping the elderly convert their homes for exercise bc of the pattern of old age that i had heard about but am now experiencing which is getting comfortable with turning inwards and doing less that together lead to the inevitable decline and march to death. the elderly need all the help they can get to push back against this. thank you for this video.

Chris, that was amazing! It is 2.30 am here in Calgary. Sleep eludes me - I am fighting my own demons & your Walk & Talk is helping & calming me. It is breathtaking in its scope, transparency & vulnerability I take solace from it! Love you, love your segments on NN. We don’t get that In canada but I seek you out on KZbin. Thank you for this. Hope you too find peace & will be able to throw the monkey off your back ❤

Amazing wisdom. I wish you the best too. I love listening to your show. I watched you every night on CNN and this is much more depth. I appreciate hearing about your family. I grew up in NJ and your dad was a childhood legend to me. Great work - don’t stop - change but keep on doing what you’re doing because it’s GREAT!

My husband ard I are similar to you, my hubby more so. We really appreciated your talk today! But, you could take a warm shower and then do a cold rinse. Gets the oils off better and water is holy! Cleans the emotional field as well. Blessings on your/our journey.

Chris! I noticed your change starting when you covered hurricane Katrina. I’m a counselor in my town and I swear by movement, in other words changing. What I admired from your coverage of Katrina is your hope and knowing things would get better. Take care my friend! We all live the journey of Mental Health, but we battle Mental Illness. And that only happens when we get horizontal. ❤
