Thank you for this just perfect exercise for my 84 years old husband with 3/4 lung capacity! He was out of breath for a while, we stop and pushed play to continue 😅 he says thank you to you and we just subscribed for more senior walking with you! Merci from grateful seniors living in France 🇫🇷

Merci beaucoup! Welcome to my channel and thank you for subscribing! Just to help you navigate the channel, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate) and categorize them all into the playlists. If you enjoyed this one, you can find plenty more at this same level under the 'gentle level' playlists. I hope you and your husband enjoy more of the workouts when you try them out!

Oh, Julie, what a day I’ve had! We only got to do this easy 10 minute workout today. 😞 Mid morning my back decided to reek havoc on me. I finally had to make a trip back to the Chiropractor. I think that will be back on track soon-I’m glad I’ve finally learned to go to him early on when I have trouble. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.

I’m sorry to hear about your back:( Take the time you need to allow it to heal. The seated gentle or beginner workouts might be the best option right now. Those workouts are still very beneficial:)

To see more classes offered on this channel, click on the logo beside 'Improved Health'. Once you click on the logo you'll be directed to the main channel page. You'll see titles saying 'home', 'videos', 'playlists'. If you click on the 'playlists', you'll see videos put into different categories based on chair and standing exercise levels. Also, if you go to 'videos', you'll see every video I've created and uploaded. I'd like to ask you to PLEASE SUBSCRIBE by hitting the red 'subscribe' button and PLEASE hit the 'thumbs up' button if you liked the video. It doesn't cost a thing and it's completely private from other viewers (you'll never hear from me unless you comment under a video). If you click the bell beside the subscribe button, you'll get a notification any time I upload a new video. Hope this helps as I know a lot of viewers struggle to understand KZbin and how to see all of the videos offered. Lastly, for newbies on KZbin, you'll see a little down arrow just under the video on the right side. If you click the arrow, you'll be able to read the description explaining what the video is about. I would truly appreciate you subscribing and hitting that thumbs up button! Thanks in advance:) Jules

I will try to solve the problem from now on. what I like in your video,besides it’s simpleness ,is how you tell when it’s about to switch and few tips. Welcome to my channel and thank you for letting me know that you're new here. Just to help you navigate the channel, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate) and categorize them all into the playlists. If you enjoyed this one, you can find plenty more at this same level under the 'gentle level' playlists. There are lots of other short 10-20 minute walks that I hope will help. Taking breaks as needed is a great way to be able to do more of the workout and in time, you'll get stronger and be able to do more. Another option is to do the seated workouts on days when your energy is lower due to chronic fatigue. The gentle seated workouts focus on gentle movement to improve flexibility and range of motion. I also create 3 levels for those so you can pick and choose depending on your energy. I'll add my other seated channel in case you'd like to try some there: youtube.com/@ImprovedHealthChairWorkouts

@@durreshehwar4272 Hi! My suggestion is to modify any exercise that doesn't work well for you. If the hamstring curl is tough on your knee, then definitely switch it to something else. A step touch (feet back and forth) is likely a better move for your knee. Congrats for being here and for taking that first step to working out! I truly hope you come back every day. A little bit every day definitely adds up!

I like your videos (music...movements...tempo...walking with movements GREAT). Especially in a day when I have low energy level...feel stress out or nerve pains. I like doing movements outdoor / on bed / on chair or standing at floor when possible. Main thing is when videos are not that long and they are gentle movements it is easy to start doing. When you feel like doing more you can do video two times or do 2-3 videos. My wishes for length is 10-15-20 minutes...maybe 30 minutes too with warm up or cardio...movements and stretching with this gentle tempo :) Keep on doing great videos. Your voice...talking...music everything is relaxing and nice to listen.THANK YOU!

Just seeing your other comment, maybe give some of the seated workouts a try to see how you find them. I still do leg strengthening exercises in the seated workouts which will help. Another good workout for you to try would be the video I created with my dad. It is for knee osteoarthritis but would help strengthen your legs and strengthen the muscles around your knees. Do what you can and take the next day off if needed before doing the workout again the next day.

I'm in my 70's and was easily doing a 2000 step walk at home video once or twice a day, until I got a very nasty virus 5 weeks ago. Maybe RSV? Lost weight and muscle. 10 days ago had internal angiogram and still have sore arm. I feel like I am starting all over. Just did this, and it's about all I can do.
@ImprovedHealth
@ImprovedHealth Күн бұрын
It's definitely frustrating when we catch a virus and it sets us back. Since you had a good fitness base before, muscle memory will help you to get stronger each day and you'll gain back any strength that you lost. Just do your best to stay consistent with exercising daily, but do allow yourself to start back slowly and work up to more when you're feeling well enough to do so.

I'm sorry to read about what you're going through. I am sure over time with the physical therapy, you will continue to grow stronger. When you're ready, these workouts will be waiting for you. In the meantime, I might suggest trying the seated workouts under the 'gentle level' seated workouts in the playlists on my channel. They will help you work through range of motion & flexibility while not being too taxing on your body. I truly hope those work until you can do the gentle standing workouts. I'm not sure what your injuries are, but just do the movements that work, and modify the other movements for now. Over time you'll be able to do more. I wish you a quick & full recovery.

Hello, I just found your group and tried your 10-minute walk. I have not exercised for more than 20 years; I have an added 40 pounds gained over that time. I thought this would be a breeze, but I found it was a true challenge. I did end up slowing my pace as I do have hip and knee problems. I completed the walk disappointed how out of shape I have allowed myself to get. I have subscribed to you group and will continue to work out slowly. Thank you for no fast music or bouncing steps or jumping moves. I'll catch you again soon.

I think you'll be surprised by how quickly you'll gain fitness and strength by returning to exercise each day. Start slowly, but be consistent if you can (meaning, try to work out daily and work up to doing more when you're ready). The seated workouts are also great options on days when your hips or knees are bothering you. I'll add my other channel as well for you.
