People are something. I work for a financial institution and had a customer complaining over a 2 cent interest charge on her credit card today. I believe people are angry over something else going on in their lives and take it out on the first person they can.

Preach! I agree. As a teenager (long time agooo) I was at the beach with my family and a missionary came up to me and asked me if I believed and followed christ/god. I said no. He told me how I felt about going to hell. Shook lol! I did the best I could as a kid, telling a grown man to leave me alone as kind as I could. That day, I learned a lot about religion. I agree with you, let everyone make up their own minds with their own lives. Sorry you had a meanie!!! We love you and your content, thanks for being transparent and sharing with us. Oh I cannot stand those little “gifts” but I admit back in the day I used to be morbidly fascinated with Chick tracts - I had never seen anything like that before. People used to leave them around, I used to work at K -Mart and someone would leave them on our time clock! I’m a terrible person, I just imagined Buddy meowing “do you know our lord and savior…” when you walked in the door. And handing you a Chick Tract about Halloween 😂

Christians need to understand boundaries. Which too many don't. If someone says don't pray for me or I don't need your bible... respect that and move on. Too many of us have experienced religious trauma and the last place we want to be triggered is in public......especially at work.

I’m trying to relate. Forgive me as I mean not to offend. My ex and I are what I would call passive in faith. We believe, but we don’t actively recruit. I was taught that people would be drawn to you and your works not you judging them and suggesting they change their life. Whenever we moved, we did so frequently, we stood out in the neighborhoods we lived in. We could ALWAYS tell who were, our opinion, good neighbors by how they introduced themselves. If you immediately came over telling us how you were Christians, inquiring about our status, and inviting us to church…you went on the AVOID list. If you just said Hi and welcome… it left a different impression

Steven, this is directed to these people who are being so strange to you over the religion issue. I debated about commenting on the whole religious thing but kindly leave Steven alone. The most judgmental people I've met are from some church or another. Why not just leave the subject alone? It seems to me that Steven's just expressing himself and you're ragging on him because you disagree? Not very Christlike if you ask me. Keep in mind, this is Steven's channel. If you don't agree or approve or are insufferably judgey, remember, this is his content. Leave him alone. If you don't like what he says - we'll, maybe best for you to leave. Yes, but there's a point where it's not a gift. Would you be okay with me walking around proselytizing that being homosexual is superior to being heterosexual? I would NEVER want to be a heterosexual...even if I could. So, would it be fine if I walked around suggesting everyone be gay? Of course not!!! It would be rude and weird...but, if it's somebody else's god, that's just a gift.

I guess I'm just completely confused because you talk about kindness and compassion, and tolerance often. - it's psrt ofwhat drew me totoyr channel. I don't care what anyone chooses to believe in or not believe in but if you stand up and ask people to share their well wishes, kind thoughts and PRAYERS for the world, people might just feel like you'll be receptive to gifts like that. There are too many reasons for me to list in a reply to a KZbin post. But I'll tell you, for decades people have been telling me to stop pushing the fact that I'm gay in their face. It's okay if I'm gay just don't talk about it all the time. But if we start talking about religion, that's quite all right. You don't believe in God well if you read this you will. I don't want it! I'm tired of it being forced upon me or suggested that I'm not whole because I don't believe in God. Eventually it gets very frustrating and I get tired of it.
