Fun fact: some Kirby games have actually had blood in them. The final boss of Kirby's Dream Land 3 shoots blood at you as its main form of attack, and its second phase consists of it literally tearing its eye out of the socket to ram into you, dripping blood. The final boss of Kirby 64 is a biblically accurate angel fought in a literal hellscape who cries tears of blood every time it's hit in the eye. Edit: wasn't aware of the other instances such as Dark Meta Knight in Triple Deluxe or Void Termina in Star Allies, as those are much more subtle and therefore easy to miss.
