Let's see: 20-30 years. That makes me 87-97 years old. I will be rocking the fireballs and portals until they put the laptop in the coffin with me (hope heaven has wifi). My wedding 50th anniversary will be in 2043 and I'll be 86, so that's do-able. Maybe I can talk the husband type into running his gnome frost DK again. And hopefully they will have gnome paladins for me. Yes, I'm planning on doing this when I'm in hospice until I have the nurses pushing buttons. I'm also dual-maimng, my gnome mage and my human paladin (if they do gnomes, I'll will be changing to that).

I think Sylvanas is the only character who was done dirtier than Garrosh by the writing team.

I don't think so really. They had his arc play out. He was front and center as a character since wrath. I would agree with you if you said they did him dirty in shadowlands. They could have had way cooler fan service or included him just a tiny tiny bit more. Unfortunate..

Garrosh was executed perfectly, the only thing they did wrong was his character in stonetalon

@Xgamerwoo I guess you can look at it that way, but I've always seen the opposite. Before Cata, the little we saw of Garrosh was a young, brash, and exceedingly prideful warrior. Then he became Warchief, and displayed the qualities that embodied Green Jesus's Horde in Stonetalon and Silverpine allbeit with a gruff dickish exterior. We started to see the beginning of what could have been a great leader. Then Blizzard decided to have him kill Cairn, nuke Theramore, and become genocidal madman by the time MoP was over.

Honestly Reforged is fine now, especially if you play on Classic graphics. Other than some sound bugs it was fine when I played it a few weeks ago. Would be extremely fun to see you check all the campaigns.

Remind me, what was wrong with it again? Aside from the whole they changed the scope of the project. (I don’t care about competitive as far as I’m aware the campaign worked fine. And that’s all I wanted, And that’s with me still being disappointed that we didn’t get the lore update they promised, then reneged on)

@@catrinastars Well, the main issue WAS the scope. At the start they promised actual changes to the campaign to bring it more in line with WoWs lore plus remade cinematics. They then attempted to announce how they reverted all that and will simply be upresing cinematics but they didnt update the shop page so a lot of people werent informed (plus they made that announcement in a random little panel in Blizzcon that not many watched). There were other issues as well like the game being not well optimized, stuff like clans (guilds), leaderboards etc missing. A mess overall.

Ive had an idea for awhile that the suggested content menu (which has a drop down, thats greyed out lol) to function as it does now, with the tab called "challenging encounters" for the current content it currently reccomends, but add a tab to the dropdown called "further adventures". The further adventures tab would update daily suggesting 3 types of things, questlines, sightseeing, and collection. I think the problem with the old content is it all exists in separate bubbles that the game never encourages a new player to go out and find, and having the content suggestion pop up on login with their preferred menu i think would help tremendously with getting people exploring that stuff, collecting things, doing questlines, etc

and potentially add small cosmetic rewards for going along with it, similar to the trader tender system. Nothing major or exclusive, but small things that would be fun to collect for new and veteran players.

For the new players getting into the current lore and stuff they could create a scenario with the bronze dragonflight leading you through the expansions with littles quests u can do in-between like killing bosses n stuff, could be fun.

Give us 10 minute artistic cinemas (Shadowlands animations style was epic imho) for a prologue to vanilla, vanilla, and each expansion after, and make them accessible by having a quest in game that sends you to a library or something where you can watch them all, and if you watch the full length you get a cool pet or toy or decent account bound reward that's not TOO OP but is definitely desirable (or hell, make them OP to encourage people to watch). Have each 10m or even 15m cover each "era" from start to finish with the most important lore, the stuff that really moves the pieces. Or if they really wanted to get creative, they could make like a 10 - 15 episode full WoW anime lol.

Important characters dying is a good thing we might miss them but it makes us feel the bad guys and the world are actually dangerous and it makes the story so much better when it's well written.

Would you count Xal'atath being reborn from the dagger her 3rd life and that if we kill her next expansion it will be her 3rd death which leads us into a heavy void expansion with Midnight?

Maybe we're misinterpreting the "died twice" from Alleria. In a cultural way, it's always suggested that "if someone dies that part of yourself dies too" and she has lost Lirath (her brother) and Sylvanas. Until Vereesa informed her that Sylvanas was the War Chief and then in their private conversation also told about her being undead, Alleria probably had assumed her sister was dead. So if we look at the words from the point of view of Lirath dying and seemingly Sylvanas being dead anyway, which eludes at the idea that once told Alleria couldn't accept the undead state and insisted likely "Sylvanas is dead. Whoever is left behind isn't my sister." (or something along those lines in my head cannon). It would be like in a situation if zombie overrun our world and you got told that a brother or sister was now a zombie. The "third death" could therefore be Vereesa. Until then it might be that Alleria is clinging to accepting the Light for the sake of Turalyon and I would guess that losing a third sibling would constitute her third death. Maybe that's the trigger that makes her go all out Void, abandoning Turalyon and Arathor in the situation.

out of curiosity, can you give an example of an mmo with a "non-dated" combat system? I think wow continues to have the most responsive, fastest tab target combat on the market, in fact it's one of the handful of things that brings me back pff.

"Never played WC3" OH MAN he's missing out on some real classic stuff. Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Throne are great. OG versions are worth playing IMO, Reforged just gives it a bad paint job.

you don't sound like you want to produce assets, arrange environment or designing mechanics. You are interested in lore and for that your portfolio is your channel (but condense it for a job interview) The same way concept artist don't need to know how to code and class designer don't need to know any graphic software
