Great video with some real wisdom which comes from experience. I walked myself fit. Starting at 308 lbs, the only exercise I was capable of was short walks. I began with 1 x 500 step walk each day. I walked in the evenings when it was dark. I was embarrassed to walk in the light. Now, I weigh 130 lbs and walk between 10,000 and 13,000 steps 7 mornings a week before breakfast. I do this at a quick pace and utilising as many uphill stretches as possible. I’m totally blind so I walk with my 26 year old son Joe. He’s fit and now so am I! Jesus, Ghandi and even Forest Gump walked and talked. Victory is ours Heather while ever we work to be slim walkers. I agree about losing the weight slowly. Many times I crash dieted and I regained the weight every time. This time I was the proverbial tortoise rather than the hare and so far I’ve kept the weight off for 5 years. Keep it up Heather, you’re doing great. Taps that drip fill buckets. We have this! Much love Jane xx

Woo hoo! I'm so glad for your success this week! I've been focusing on a couple of the things you mentioned. Walking...it started out with me walking my Standard Poodle while listening to praise music. It's turned into a necessity of life! It's now my prayer and praise walk with my BFF! I've also been reading and meditating on God's Word every day. Especially this week when my heart can't take following the election results. The peace I have from this has been such a relief! I'm staying away from all the bickering of the election and I'm waiting the final result. That's keeping my stress level under control. Now if I could just get a weigh in going again. I'm so close to ONEderland! See ya next week, Heather! 🕊

Thanks to Heather for such encouraging thoughts! I promised myself, since I voted early, I would stay away from the high drama and angst of election day. Instead today I prayed my rosary and divine mercy chaplet; and I've looked after my garden, enjoyed checking on the progress of the growing eggplant, onion, swiss chard, basil and cilantro. Watching plants grow can be very therapeutic too!

Life is full of stress. Anyone who claims to lead a stress free life is lying. I don't blame stress for anything going on in my life. I understand stress for what it is and find ways to distract myself with positive alternatives.

A pound and a half of actual weight-loss after the initial water wish is great! I’m trying to be WFPB SOS-free but I’m only losing about half a pound a week. I think I make too many exceptions. Hmmmm. Got to work on that. See you next week!

I didn't make that recipe yet, but--- I do SOFAS free too, at home, i do eat taters 1-2 times a wk from the deli. But i still managed to heal my illnesses & lose 93 lbs, in 31 1/2 months. 68 yrs old, feeling much younger. Take care & xo ❤️

Congratulations I use a lot of canned products myself and I don’t see it being a problem I really don’t. And I have to tell you all my granola that I make I put 1 tablespoon of sugar in it it doesn’t seem to be hurting me in anyway but I know Dr. McDougall says you can have a little bit of sugar as far as salt is concerned I always put a little salt on my food haven’t had a problem with that either I think it’s the junk the real junk that gets us in trouble not the little bit of sugar we’re going to put on food or a little bit of salt that we’re going to put on food. I’m glad you’re in the green. I know I have had enough with politics and I keep saying let the best man win because I’m exhausted I was up so late last night got only three hours asleep and I thought this is ridiculous when I woke up this morning i said nothing has changed😂😂 Those are all great stress tips have a beautiful day my friend
