Moorlander, this is a fantastic review of a really quality screwdriver that I've never heard of and is perfect for a large pouch/small bag carry! I think this has more functionality than a Wiha! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Oh nice. I think Wera have a great product(s) with these small tool kits. Perfect size, and reasonably not too expensive, which makes you want a couple for different bags and set ups. I'm already at the point where I want several so I don't have to keep finding them. I guess they've realised in their marketing and product teem how to make at gateway drug formula 😅

I have this (different bits in mine, 2 flathead, 2 Philips, 2 square/Robertson - Canadian loadout) and the Wiha go box. I find myself going for the go box more often. They're both great tools, though.

Yes, I ended up a few doloar in credit on my Amazon US page and had this posted to the UK. I don't think the Kompakt 25 is available in the UK. Sounds like you have the Kompakt 20. I've seen a few pieces from Wiha in my travels but never had any. I'll add the Go Box to my list and give you a shoutout 🤘 have a great week

Hi Ben. I made a mistake with getting this really. I had an Amazon US voucher to spend and got this which is imperial bits. There is a European/metric version out there. I've swapped out the bits to suit how I use it more 👍

9:23 When you pressed the green ring to retract the rod, did you have to use a lot of force? On mine it makes a loud clicking noise, a little forced. It looks like it came defective. From Brazil.

Not a massive amount of force. I've found if you pull back on the green part whilst also pulling the screw head back slightly it does it way easier. I'm guessing it takes any pressure off the mechanism on the inside some how. My still works perfectly. I keep this in my rifle bag all the time so probably doesn't get used as much as other tools I have. All my best from across the Atlantic

@@MoorlanderEDC I was lucky enough to find a review where the guy showed this detail. It's a little extra strength halfway through the course onwards. It is normal to hear a clicking sound. I wish you all the best. Here in Brazil I can only use the rifle in electronic games. There I have a .50 hahahaha. All the best to you too!

Lousy tool. All WERA created hype. One is liable to lose the extension bit. Then what? Buy a new one. The WERA green is the most garish green ever. People are not thinking but giving in to their weakness for new nicely packaged tool. And besides, it's not a heavy duty tool. WERS is getting away with ripping off stupid tool lovers. Why are we allowing them?

Hi Kamran. I hope you're well buddy. I hope your don't think I'm complicit in Wera's world wide fabrication of the truth here. I'm just giving my humble opinion of my findings with their products. I consider myself to be a light users and I'm very careful with my tool. So much so I keep mine in this pocket when not used in my rifle bag. I've personally found them to be great quality and although priced higher than some other tool sets, still reasonably priced. I appreciate my experience may be limited compared to others however there's are my opinions and they haven't been swayed in the time I've owned these tools. I definitely apprecoate the feedback however if you feel so strongly about them, you may be better directing this feedback to them so the can make changes and improve... Maybe even change their entire corporate branding and colours. I definitely appreciate the view though my friend and hope you're having a cracking weekend wherever you are. All my best

Of course it's not a heavy duty tool; It was never advertised that way. It's a multi-bit screwdriver with several parts to it. It's obvious you won't be using any multi-tool screwdriver to do any prying or hammering... That's what a demolition driver is for... This is useful for several trades and especially for plenty of light work around the house without having to carry 6 different screwdrivers.
