Can i just point out that the Reply Code Alpha from Ulduar to quest stack is a trap? When ONE person delivers the quest the questgiver goes on a RP walk for like 5+ min where you can't turn in the quest and stuck waiting. Most likely not worth unless you can gurantee you can be first.

also you don't wanna sit on 200 fragments once you reach 450 archeology (just save the green boe fragments for launch). If you are after the dwarf staff/troll sword you want to keep solving artifacts during the prepatch because while you can't get the epics you can still get some of the rares and therefore they will be out of the rare artifact pools once cata launches and therefor giving you better odds on the epic boas, just make sure to cap fragments before launch

@@angrys13 In SW and Org there will be a Quest Board right outside the Auction Houses that will light up with a Yellow (!) icon when you hit the minimum level to start questing in a zone. When you hit 80, you will be offered Hyjal and Vashjir starting quests. You basically just have to do a quick intro quest like riding a boat to the underwater zone or taking a Druid teleport to Hyjal.

Don't be like me and think you need the four Primal Mights to change from another Master of Flask/Potions into Transmutation. Just go to your previous specialization trainer, unlearn your previous one for some gold, then go to the Transmutation Master in the Netherstorm and tell them you want to learn a new specialization. Trains you immediately for free.

So what’s the take on maybe questing in Northrend until 81 to not deal with the New Zone crowds? I still have a large majority of Storm Peaks and IC left on my new main, they give abour 23k, and from looking at old videos it looks like new zones will be about 30k. Would it be viable to stay in Northrend until 81 to kinda of avoid the early rush, but still be productive?

It would not be viable from an efficiency standpoint. It might be worth your sanity to have no interruptions but it's like taking an alternate route on maps with no traffic but it takes 30 minutes longer

I can't seem to find a source for this, during Cata, can you buy the Heroic tier helmet and Shoulders with just the heroic token, or do you also need to have the normal version of the item first? Seems a bit counter-intuitive to be raiding heroic but then need to spend 10+ weeks grinding out the normal version of the fight

Its a different currency, it should be chefs award in cataclysm and we are using epicurean atm (even though it should be dalaran cooking awards as epicurean wasnt even in WOTLK lol)

well the way its meant to happen is when mop hits the chefs awards convert to epicurean but with us already using the wrong cooking token i would assume they won't even change but who knows when the beta doesn't really paint an accurate picture of what blizzard plans on doing with alot of things. But historically the WOTLK cooking awards didn't change at all until MoP and instead cataclysm introduced the new cooking awards then MoP pre patch converted both WOTLK and Cata awards into 1 single award

Short Question: In Cata they want to make achievements accountwide if i heared correctly. I have a mage that has all the Naxx achievements exept Undying but i dont play that mage anymore. Now i main a Rogue that hasnt gotten any Naxx achievements. If I go in with my Rogue and do Undying and the achievements get combined coming Cata, do I get the Mount?

Achievements will be account wide. Mounts already are account wide, but the titles obtained will only be on the character that completed the achievement. You will still need to fully complete the achievement on one character to get the mount

you can easily solo tiger boss on any cloth wearer by going up tot he mound behind boss then resetting boss and then tagging adds before boss makes it back to them. 100% success rate to phase him into p2

Now's the worst time to get into gdkps lmao. to give you some context, if I full on leeched for a month during the first 1-3 months of ICC release, i could have made roughly a million gold a month (mind u I've been actively raiding on 14 chars), now I could barely make a forth of that within the same time span. You should have been joining gdkps if you wanted to make gold that way during the start/halfway mark of p4. Cuts are rarely 10k nowadays, usually around 5k, on p4 launch it used to be 30k+ on a regular, around decemeber/january 20k was still relatively normal but for the last 1-2 months, it dried out. bit too late to jump on that gold farm now I'm afraid

I solo ZG Tiger boss as both fire mage and demo warlock easily. Warlock is super easy with a few talents changed to boost felguard tanking. Mage is tough but doable with good gear (I'm running 6.5k gs).

The emblem gear is still available for justice points in Cata. Its not until much later that they change them to cost gold.

You can! In the PVP room of Org / SW is a supply quartermaster where you can turn 375 Honor into 250 JP. Remains to be seen if this will be in from the start since it wasn't added until the Zandalari patch of 4.1 which wont be until July 2024. It is there in the BETA but the beta also has a ton of issues and bugs and things that shouldn't be available until the Dragonsoul patch.

Yea but back in the day it was patch restricted, we won't be patch restricted so i agree its unlikely but its also plausible. We don't have downtime or anything in classic, the xp bar just appears and off we go so everything when pre patch hits will actually be in the game

if you think icc gdkp still nets 30k you are in for a rude awakening. if you don't bring at least 6,5k gear score dont even think about going out of that instance net positive. gdkp cuts declined rapidly and organisers are now even more eager to inspect any of the raiders who might need the item dropped. If its even just a 5dps increase you cash out or get kicked on the spot
