The One piece, all the treasure the world has to offer, is located in the big gaping hole in the ocean under Enies lobby. Enies sounds a lot like, well, “anus”. And The Will of (the) D is to enter the “Enies”… the entirety of one piece is a joke about anal. You’re welcome.

A little bit trivia from One Piece anime : All openings have the word "Dream/Yume" in the lyrics, except for two openings (OP13 and OP14) where Luffy nearly gives up on his dream because he lost Ace and almost lost all of his crew, so he thinks that his dream to have the biggest party with all people around the world is gone forever

For me "D" means *Demos* from "Democracy": Demos (common people) + Kratos (power) = Power to the people. "Dream", "Devil", "Dawn" won't be happened without the *person* him/herself. As we know the main story of OP is always connected to the freedom of the people, the very thing that Revolutionary Army is fighting for. World Govt & Tenryubito have the dream to unite the world under their single authority/absolute power, which means there always a social hierarchy. A *unilateral* world. While RA does want to topple the WG to unite the world where every single person in this world achieve the same freedom = equality. A *multilateral* world. But to fight against the gIobaI eIite (WG), the world needs to get together. All people in all countries should unite to against the tyranny power created by WG since 800 years ago. The only problem is... most of countries in this world still have their trust in WG as the soIid justice authority of the world. So the idea of RA's dream is to create a *COMMON PROSPERITY* . A flourishing democracy where thre's no oppresion, sIavery, p0verty. Every single country has the rights to determine its own future. I beIieve Oda is trying to tell us about a leftist story, a SociaIism/C0munism concept. He does it in fun way, not complicated or preaching. That's why the archenemy of the people named "Im", an abbreviation of *lMPERIALISM* So.... "Will of D." is "Will of Demos" or we can say as *"WILL OF THE PEOPLE"* !!!!! I beIieve One Piece probably isn't a physical thing, it's a condition or a concept where every people (races) in this world get unite as a homogenous humanity. Speaking of Kaido. I haven't watched the whole video yet but I want to comment this before I forget about it. In the last chapter of the manga (1035) we see a determined and smiling Kaido recruiting King, the same way Roger did with Rayleigh and Luffy with Zoro. He says he's the only one who can change the world. He looks hungry and hopeful. The current Kaido, however, looks angry, depressed (alcoholic) and disappointed. One of the lines he says to Luffy, after the second time he knocks him out is "Seems like you couldn't be Joyboy either". By now, it's pretty clear that Kaido has some deep knowledge regarding the True History. I think that by saying that Luffy couldn't be Joyboy "either" he was establishing a parallel with himself. He also says that Pirates will betray you. So to me, it looks like Kaido was once as much of a dreamer as Luffy is today. He wanted to become the Pirate King, but something happened in the way that made him feel disappointed and hopeless. That's why he's now angry and depressed. Because he thought he was gonna be Joyboy, but couldn't. And that's also why he's at Wano Country, because he knows something is bound to happen there regarding the true Joyboy and he wants to be there to face it. Though I don't know if he wants to try and steal "it" from him or if he's some sort of a "guardian" himself, that is, an osbtacle that Joyboy needs to overcome. But I think that Kaido will have a "happy" ending of his own, similar to Whitebeard's, in the sense that he's not just the big, bad, strong monster he's portrayed to be. He's got feelings, and he was once a dreamer too. A little bit of Uchiha Obito vibes, if you know what I mean. I bet Oda will make us sympathize with Kaido by the end.

I love it, since the beggining of Onigashima Raid I wanted Kaido to be the deepest and most complex villain in OP and I think this is where Oda is taking him. He's not your typical bad dude, it seems like Oda tries to make him look cool, badass and unbeatable, as this final obstacle for Luffy, but also.. idk, there are moments where Kaido seems just simply tired and despondent cause of the things he's seen throughout his pirate life (but he acts tough, cause he's kaido). I hope his flashback is another tragic one, a story of a broken dreamer. And then, him dying (or being defeated) but being happy cause he sees some hope (that he thought is lost) in Luffy would be a perfect, satisfying ending for his story arc, though Oda likes to take everything away from the villain in the end so I don't know

Nah, it is somewhat obvious. It has been almost explicitly (but not outright) explained before as shown in this video. The concept of of living on in memory is not unique to One Piece either of course. I think I've heard it more referred to as the second death. Some people may be looking into it too much or in not the right way. It is simple and profound a concept but I think for some they may see it and think that there has to be more to it like some kind of spiritual or physical manifestation or power. Also, there are many people that just need it explicitly pointed out. I'm sure many here get it and to them it was an obvious piece but necessary and Artur is just fitting together all the major pieces.

Blackbeard is one of my favorite characters just from that scene in Jaya. I hope we get more of his nicer/ inspirational side as the story continues. One of my personal theories is that when people refer to Blackbeard as "they", they are referring to the wills of other people that are inside him. The same way Luffy is a culmination of other people's wills + his own, Blackbeard is as well.

I like the idea saying that Kaido was very determined in his youth and got depressed as he hasn't achieved JoyBoy's will until his old days. Great sentiment, that you only die when you’re forgotten, but it’s very depressing to people who are all alone lol someone out there has no one to remember them.. and that’s sad. However, dying and being forgotten don’t have to be bad things. What’s most important is making the most of life, doing what makes you happy and giving some meaning to other peoples lives too, for the sake of being good, even if no one knows it

Is it possible that Joy Boy's will was also inherited by Rocks? And in extension, Blackbeard? Like how Luffy and Teach are the opposite side of the same coin, both wants to be the pirate king to achieve the same goal. What if Blackbeard also wants to throw the biggest party the world ever have? But to do that he needs to unite the world through domination.

Why was he afraid when it seemed for a moment that Whitebeard was going to kill him in Marineford? Whos will is he inheriting? Rocks? How is that will connected to the will of the D clan? Does he know that he still has a part to play in this final War and he is preparing for that?

I really enjoy you as a creator but I wish you made your videos a little more concise. The first half of the video can be summed up as having your will inherited allows you to live past death. But unfortunately it takes you 11 minutes to make that point. It's a really grand over explanation of a basic idea. I would rather you state your point at the beginning than provide all your evidence after. But with this format you kind of talk in circles for 10 minutes before finally spitting out the main point which is youre only dead once your forgotten. I feel like it wouldve been better to just start with that panel.

I think Blackbeard will become a pirate-king not luffy, Right now everyone expect luffy to be the next pirate king but for luffy, he values the journey and his crew more thn the title” pirate king “ Blackbeard the crowned pirate king Luffy the uncrowned pirate king

If done right, this would be a really powerful moment. Just imagining Blackbeard beating Luffy to his dream is soul-crushing, but Luffy learning to overcome that would be so emotional

Love you Artur! Struggling and sharing our struggles are what not only create our own lives, but connect all of our lives! Our joy, pain, grief, when we share it all together, nobody ever dies. One Piece is such a great example of this, thank you Artur! Edit: man this video has me crying at the gym. This episode has a special place in my heart!

About Blackbeard... I think he is wrong, which is why Luffy and Zoro reacted the way they did to him. Dreams, of freedom, bringing a new dawn, finding One Piece, becoming the greatest swordsman... are meant to be completed. Zoro WILL become the greatest swordsman at some point, and his dream will end. Luffy WILL find one piece, and become the pirate king, his dream will also end. ...and so on... Blackbeard will want more, and more and more, and becouse of that will gain nothing. Luffy and Zoro know the importance of the end. ...or rather this is what I think Becouse no one really has a good explanation why Luffy and Zoro reacted to Blackbeards words the way they did, or rather no theory convinced me anyway.

Damn, You caught me with that "one piece is going to end, but would live on through us the fans" this would make oda the greatest mangaka who ever did it, literally writing his readers into his story from the very start and only telling them at the end.

Recently listened to podcast where someone mentioned the smile emoticon :D when discussing Will of D theories. Suddenly dawned on me, smile on Spanish is "sonrisa," sun rise, the dawn. (Portuguese: sorriso) The D Clan are destined to shepard people through the cold night, and bring about a new dawn, with a smile.

speaking of the Will of Dreams I'm putting this out here: Blackbeard has blended the ancient egyptian myth of the soul eating demon Ammit as well the Japanese dream eating demon the Baku which is what Blackbeard's race is a Baku an alien race from the OP universe's version of Outer Space or has used the Baku myth and blended it with the Ammit by making Blackbeard of the mythical pig devil fruit the Buta Buta No Mi model Ammit

I can partially understand what you've been through because I too spent and passed very harsh events to me, health, family, friends; but as you've pointed out the beauty is the journey, the everchanging story the we live, through wonderful times and hellish periods, as we approach our death we're influencing other and ourselves, steadily, I will start to produce content for my self and for whoever will want to check it out, I want to express what I have to say and I want to bring value to others so that they could maybe alleviate or prevent the pain I've been through. I sincerely hope to have a wonderful meeting with all the great youtuber and Reddit members etc. In Japan, to have an amazing feast from other the world, a fantastic memory that will never be forgotten.

Watching this theory is so unusual. Not in a bad way. But because normally watching theories means just watching some dude throwing a bunch of answers as fast as he can, answers that are possible but that's it... It's just something possible that MAY be the truth. And its done in that way mainly because the target is to draw attention. But watching this work feels different, it's more like reading an actual scientific paper, where they slowly explain you what we already know it's true, review it, test it in different contexts to see if it works, and then SLOWLY the answers start coming. Of course, it's less hyping than some attention-drawing 20 minutes video about "THE ULTIMATE THEORY, WHAT THE ONE PIECE IS (REAL)", but at the same time it just feels infinitely more solid. This is a really serious work and I really respect Artur for doing this way, because it shows how much he actually respects Oda's work. Also. It's great to watch this and feeling so connected to someone I don't know. Just because the same story has helped us in similar ways.

Sorry to put it like this, but in all 6 vedios that we were hyped from a long time, there is not a single new point made, everything is already been discussed in community. I loved your theory on how luffy's main goal is to throw a gaint party to whole world, but that is the only good point being told again in all 6 vedios.

The concept is actually comes from ancient Chinese Confucius called *GREAT UNITY* Thus, *ONE PIECE* means the *GREAT UNITY*

Did Sengoku say Xebec's ''dream'' was to become the King of the World? Or did he say ''Ambition''? Then Blackbeard inherited Xebec's dream while Luffy inherited Roger's dream, they both can accomplish their dreams since its different.

Many people can achieve inherited will of Joy Boy in One Piece world. It's the same about Harry Potter and his fate to defeat Volan-de-Mort. 2 people maybe the chosen one(Harry and Neville). Luffy is more lucky, the next joy boy maybe Ace or Sabo easily)))

Well fuck one piece, I've been actively avoiding one piece since the magical day of 2004, when I first watched an Episode after going back from school when I was 5 Years old, I watched an episode Of one piece and I swore that when I grow up I ll cole back to it (since Tv only replayed few episodes) now I am 22 and I started (3 weeks ago) watching one piece, though I know all the major spoilers (merry's death / luffy and usopp fight/ ace death etc etc) I still had tears in my eyes in thoses scenes, especially the chopper arc, made me ball my eyes out, tho it is a bit cliché but one piece IS TRUELY about the journey, not the destination, and even after it is end it will be inherited, like it is inheriting the age of manga before it. Nice video mate I ve been watching it and almost burst into tears when blackbeard started talking about dreams..

These are all extremely understandable and repeated concepts in the story that everyone knows that everyone knows about, but still it's almost like this video alone can make everyone solve One Piece on their own now, by implanting the essence of every soul in the story in the readers' minds to interpret exactly what is going on in each scene. People often come up with disjointed theories resulting from not having this implanted within. Now I think people should see it all. People can't seem to grasp how different Blackbeard was during his intro. But just because he says it with such enthusiasm doesn't mean he has some good in him. He's just stating what he feels within about his own dream, which is a really bad one. You can really feel it now, after reflecting on this video.

You keep repeating that Oden says Joy Boy travels 800 years into the future, but always show the same panel in which he says that figure will reappear after a span of 800 years. Those two things don't mean the same in the slightest. Where are you getting the time travel implication from? (I know this was put together before the Gear 5 reveal, I've only just gotten to that point myself (almost up to date!) I'm genuinely curious if I've missed something or if it's some big misinterpretaion on Artur's part)

About the last video I think it is not Luffy's fate to become Joy Boy but everyone in the D clan can be Joy Boy because all of them inherited the will of Joy Boy, like what you side Luffy must work hard for it to become Joy Boy, it just means whoever in the D clan work for it to achieved the will he'll become Joy Boy
