Speaking of Kaido. I haven't watched the whole video yet but I want to comment this before I forget about it. In the last chapter of the manga (1035) we see a determined and smiling Kaido recruiting King, the same way Roger did with Rayleigh and Luffy with Zoro. He says he's the only one who can change the world. He looks hungry and hopeful. The current Kaido, however, looks angry, depressed (alcoholic) and disappointed. One of the lines he says to Luffy, after the second time he knocks him out is "Seems like you couldn't be Joyboy either". By now, it's pretty clear that Kaido has some deep knowledge regarding the True History. I think that by saying that Luffy couldn't be Joyboy "either" he was establishing a parallel with himself. He also says that Pirates will betray you. So to me, it looks like Kaido was once as much of a dreamer as Luffy is today. He wanted to become the Pirate King, but something happened in the way that made him feel disappointed and hopeless. That's why he's now angry and depressed. Because he thought he was gonna be Joyboy, but couldn't. And that's also why he's at Wano Country, because he knows something is bound to happen there regarding the true Joyboy and he wants to be there to face it. Though I don't know if he wants to try and steal "it" from him or if he's some sort of a "guardian" himself, that is, an osbtacle that Joyboy needs to overcome. But I think that Kaido will have a "happy" ending of his own, similar to Whitebeard's, in the sense that he's not just the big, bad, strong monster he's portrayed to be. He's got feelings, and he was once a dreamer too. A little bit of Uchiha Obito vibes, if you know what I mean. I bet Oda will make us sympathize with Kaido by the end.

I love it, since the beggining of Onigashima Raid I wanted Kaido to be the deepest and most complex villain in OP and I think this is where Oda is taking him. He's not your typical bad dude, it seems like Oda tries to make him look cool, badass and unbeatable, as this final obstacle for Luffy, but also.. idk, there are moments where Kaido seems just simply tired and despondent cause of the things he's seen throughout his pirate life (but he acts tough, cause he's kaido). I hope his flashback is another tragic one, a story of a broken dreamer. And then, him dying (or being defeated) but being happy cause he sees some hope (that he thought is lost) in Luffy would be a perfect, satisfying ending for his story arc, though Oda likes to take everything away from the villain in the end so I don't know

A little bit trivia from One Piece anime : All openings have the word "Dream/Yume" in the lyrics, except for two openings (OP13 and OP14) where Luffy nearly gives up on his dream because he lost Ace and almost lost all of his crew, so he thinks that his dream to have the biggest party with all people around the world is gone forever

Blackbeard is one of my favorite characters just from that scene in Jaya. I hope we get more of his nicer/ inspirational side as the story continues. Great sentiment, that you only die when you’re forgotten, but it’s very depressing to people who are all alone lol someone out there has no one to remember them.. and that’s sad. However, dying and being forgotten don’t have to be bad things. What’s most important is making the most of life, doing what makes you happy and giving some meaning to other peoples lives too, for the sake of being good, even if no one knows it

I like the idea saying that Kaido was very determined in his youth and got depressed as he hasn't achieved JoyBoy's will until his old days. Nah, it is somewhat obvious. It has been almost explicitly (but not outright) explained before as shown in this video. The concept of of living on in memory is not unique to One Piece either of course. I think I've heard it more referred to as the second death. Some people may be looking into it too much or in not the right way. It is simple and profound a concept but I think for some they may see it and think that there has to be more to it like some kind of spiritual or physical manifestation or power. Also, there are many people that just need it explicitly pointed out. I'm sure many here get it and to them it was an obvious piece but necessary and Artur is just fitting together all the major pieces.

Watching this theory is so unusual. Not in a bad way. But because normally watching theories means just watching some dude throwing a bunch of answers as fast as he can, answers that are possible but that's it... It's just something possible that MAY be the truth. And its done in that way mainly because the target is to draw attention. But watching this work feels different, it's more like reading an actual scientific paper, where they slowly explain you what we already know it's true, review it, test it in different contexts to see if it works, and then SLOWLY the answers start coming. Of course, it's less hyping than some attention-drawing 20 minutes video about "THE ULTIMATE THEORY, WHAT THE ONE PIECE IS (REAL)", but at the same time it just feels infinitely more solid. This is a really serious work and I really respect Artur for doing this way, because it shows how much he actually respects Oda's work. Also. It's great to watch this and feeling so connected to someone I don't know. Just because the same story has helped us in similar ways.

These videos would become so legendary that newbies to one piece several years from now would quote info from these videos as though they were cannon

This is the best one piece video i've ever seen. Maybe it is a moment thing, but that is how I feel right now.

Thanks for sharing your story. I lost my best freind of 18years last week. I agree with everything that you said that s why i got his name tatooed on m. So that he never dies. But don't get me wrong it's still very sad and extreamly depressing, saying goodbye is never easy. If you are reading this take care and tell the people that you love how much they meen to you before it's too late, i wish i had the chance to tell him how much i loved him. 🕊🕊

speaking of the Will of Dreams I'm putting this out here: Blackbeard has blended the ancient egyptian myth of the soul eating demon Ammit as well the Japanese dream eating demon the Baku which is what Blackbeard's race is a Baku an alien race from the OP universe's version of Outer Space or has used the Baku myth and blended it with the Ammit by making Blackbeard of the mythical pig devil fruit the Buta Buta No Mi model Ammit

To back this up even further, the fact that The Will of D was mentioned for the first time at the end of Drum Island, makes it clear that Oda likely used Hiruluk's story as an introduction of the concept.
