@@Hommo_Cosmicus Nonsense. For most of the last 2,000 years, China was one of the world's two largest economies. China was briefly interrupted by the so-called century of humiliation. China has recovered in the last 75 years. China is once again one of the world's two largest economies. In fact, China is the largest economy by _purchasing power parity,_ which is a more meaningful metric when comparing national economies. China grew from total impoverishment in 1979 to be the world's largest economy by purchasing power parity in just 35 years. And China did it without firing a shot! No other world power in history has grown so *large,* so *quickly,* and so *peacefully.*

@@horridohobbies you know why they got humiliated? Because china thought the west was barbaric, the sinocentric idea chained the Chinese from advancing forward, learning, developing and inventing new ways, new machines, new developments. The Japanese understood the ways of the west was superior, their armaments their sophisticated tanks vehicles, inventions and Ships were far stronger... That's why Japan brought you to your knees. In recent years many communist led organizations have started growing in communities. From the conversations I've had in poor black and brown neighborhoods where orgs are active the word "communist" is a now a very positive word.
