I don't think with that attitude your fond to get a response. I don't think anyone thinks that anyone can read their mind over text. I realize myself that sometimes I just reply shortly and move on with my day. It's nothing deep until one gets that infatuated with it. That's when you need to self reflect and think again. In other words no one needs to change for anyone bc you don't like the way they do certain things. That doesn't just apply to dating.

males and females are different and usually are interested in different things. When girls interact with guys, they might not have a lot to relate to. So it makes it easier for them to chat with other girls. I can imagine it would be difficult for them to chat with a guy even if they like them so they may feel insecure or nervous. Another thing is that if they get the feeling a guy likes them, but don't feel the same way, it puts a lot of pressure on them to say how they really feel. they're afraid of hurting their feelings or afraid they will get angry and end up harassing them.

I feel like the calling with a short question is a bit too aggressive. these days, people don’t call much. They usually only call when they are planning stuff that might be too complicated over text. Otherwise, they text. That’s the main form of communication these days. In my case (use this for reference), i know my crush a lot more now and havent asked her out yet because we started talking in second semester. Starting conversations can get pretty hard because i don’t have anything much to say most of the time. At this point i’m not entirely sure what is next. Idk if i should ask her to hang out. The weird thing is that we talk using snapchat and rarely message one another with the message app. We don’t really talk about all that much usually which is probably a sign that i should go ahead and ask her to hang out 🤷🏻‍♂️ still not sure about it.
