I'm on day 21. It's been getting better after a week or so. Daily toker for nearly 20 years. It all feels so silly how desperate I was to keep smoking prior. I still get extinction bursts but they're less frequent and less intense.

im on day 8, been smoking for about 6 years. i gotta say im more social, i find it easier to do everyday household tasks, stay consistent in the gym, and overall i feel more like myself again. weed definitely works for some people, but for me it was destroying my life both mentally, physically, and financially. if you smoke weed and have thoughts that its making your life worse, then its time to stop using it. good luck to you all!

I tried quitting cannabis over 30 times. It wasn't until I got a gf, found a career to go after and did a dose of psilocybin enabled me to quit. Was it just one of these things that helped or the combination? I will never know. I could never make it through the winter periods in Canada after quitting cannabis and would always relapse during that time but now I'm able to. Life is still rough not having a good income and hoping to get a job in a field that is also very competitive but my life is def better without cannabis and now I have the potential at least to try. GL to all that are trying to quit. Its not easy but nothing is that is worth doing.

That’s great in my experience God helped me I tried shrooms and only made it worse you can’t solve a drug addiction with another drug from my experience yea I stopped smoking for a bit after but then I wanted to do shrooms again and eventually I ended up in the same path again smoking everyday the best way to quit is not using anything and going through the pain I’m still in a process and some days I’m fine but others I just feel so depressed but ik I haven’t given it enough time but ik and I believe this feeling will go away soon I’m so dedicated to being a brand new person and I know it will happen not hating just my opinion

The thing is, I don't really have any cravings for weed. The last time I smoked gave me a horrible panic attack and I haven't wanted to touch the stuff since. I've talked to several people who are in a similar situation to me and they said things really turned around for them around the 60-70 day mark. That will be right around Christmas for me, and I'm really hoping for a Christmas miracle. My symptoms have steadily gone down as time has passed so I'm really optimistic about it. I'm 49 days in and I haven't gotten quite back to normal yet. I still feel a bit of anxiety and unease with my life, and things bother me that shouldn't. But even if it really does take 90 days I feel confident that I'll make it out.

I'm on day 5 today and I think the only reason I've made it this far is due to having covid. I'm incredibly thankful to be here right now cause it's been years since I've been on a day 5. Started smoking 10 years ago in my late teens and within 7 months was doing it everyday. I'm having a tough time sleeping but my appetite is not as messed up as I thought it would be. Mentally day 3 was the worst for me and day 4 (yesterday) was slightly better. With that being said, I'm determined to continue pushing through. These circumstances are probably the only way I can overcome this especially not having to go to work for a week. Best of luck to everyone!

I am on Day 18. It's been a little up and down. I feel good and after a week the physical symptoms went away. Starting to dream again has been oddly challenging. Have been roughly two years since I last smoked weed & I really don’t miss it. Quite sure it was a large contributory factor to my mental health problems I have today (paranoid schizophrenia), although I cannot prove it. When I first started smoking the stuff I was he through between a 8th & a q each day of green & when green was scarce I’d consume half ounce of soap bar in one day then started drinking & using harder drugs in my early 20’s but now I’m 40 & have somehow managed to get off everything other than alcohol & cigarettes.

Ive tried to quit several times now, usually its hard for the first few days or weeks then it gets easier ill quit for like 1-4 months but after awhile i feel like i get to a point where the chronic stress of life catches up to me i can find hobbies to entertain me but the real thing i use weed for is to relax and i haven’t been able to find a replacement like when im sober i like that i function better and i become more productive generally and i enjoy that for awhile but the thing is im never just content i cant RELAX im on edge most of the time its like im at work all the time and can never clock out. When im sober my life looks better on paper i just wish i could enjoy it and be present sit down and watch a movie with my wife but im naturally antsy. I can go for walks or take a shower i get plenty of exercise i can read books but nothing truly gives me that relief and relaxation. I wonder if anyone has suggestions

I just crossed 90 days last week after what was essentially daily cannabis use for over 40 years. I also quit drinking but that was never a daily thing for me, nor did I consider myself an alcohol addict. I suspect it'll be another month before I can honestly say the detox period is over, so the first challenge will be the holidays. So far I am holding strong and there have been some peaks and valleys that are described in the video. I would say the lows are harder to deal with than the highs, but that is just me. The worst example was the week of the election. I can't stand Trump, so there was that, but I also got a couple of other really negative things happen within a few days of that, so I was really struggling but I held firm.
