I find after the first two weeks of hitting the phone daily,it becomes easier and easier. Once you arent nervous anymore it's easier to experiment with what you are saying and the questions you ask.

It will be fun to make a 1v1 role play cold call to see how we approach our cold calls being at different companies and share some knowledge that might help other BDRs/SDRs.

Dude I copied your script and my conversions have gone up! Money ball metrics right now are 6% answer rate and 16% Meeting Set rate of live convos. So roughly every 100-110 calls I set a meeting which is perfect! Gotta know your numbers

Most interesting sales activity analysis that I have seen this century. From my recent research, in the main the procedures promoted by self proclaimed Gurus is to dated to be of practical use in 2022. But on the other hand, the practice of finding your own prospects, by yourself will never date. It is a core principal. Phil.

Unfortunately, a lot of sales reps who are required to make X amount of dials per week/month are also measured on how many aptmnts they set and because the benchmark used is often unrealistic for the newer people there is the Fudge Factor that I've seen in companies I've worked at for newbies and even for some of the Veterans. So if they are required to make for example 10 aptmnts per month they may only land 5-7 qualified aptmnts and the rest are just Unqualified aptments. Just getting prospects to agree to talk to receive some information or whatever. Those generally do Not convert very well. But it gets Management off their back for the required aptments.

Wow, out of 60 COLD convos, 9 meetings set? That seems high. I don’t do cold calling, but I’m starting soon. So idk what I’m talking about. But that seems high

What would be the best way to go about finding a SDR position in Houston? I have no Tech experience but I do have roughly 2 years of sales experience with real estate. I’m also just now barely turning 20 at the end of may… Do you think that would hold me back in getting a role like that?
@karlislipsans4292 жыл бұрын
Trent, what does 7.2 meetings mean? 7 meetings or 8 meetings what is a point 2 meeting?

Do you have an SDR that works for you on your team? If so how many meetings do they source for you a week.

2:44 Hi Trent, why did Qualtric not give the SDRs auto-dialer? Wouldn't this be helpful if they offer an auto dialer to all reps to reach as many prospect as possible?
@TrentDressel2 жыл бұрын
We use outreach; when selling solutions you showing be auto dialing, more for transactional sales motion
@willcollins56602 жыл бұрын
@@TrentDressel Thanks for the clarification. Are there SDR roles out there that go through more of a transactional sales motion? For example, in your opinion, out of all the SDR roles in America, what percentage would you say is transactional vs solution selective sale (non-transactional)?

Great info you always give. I have trouble with the "how are you" I don't think its genuine and the prospect knows you don't care. I would rather just go into the spiel. I use sandler system

You left out one metric. Of all the qualified pipeline leads, what percentage actually get closed?
@TrentDressel2 жыл бұрын
that it important metric, you are right
@billr6862 жыл бұрын
@@TrentDressel so assuming it is not confidential, what would your closing percent be? I ask because you sell HR to businesses, I sell Accounting/ERP, so they’re pretty similar. So your closing ratio probably I can use for my ratio modeling.
